dialectics is about resolving contradictions. a common contradiction in the natural world is the male desire to procreate and the female unwillingness. this is resolved by males raping females (which also occurs in human societies). sexual selection can be dialectical in this way, also in reverse, where males compete for a female (another happenstance in human affairs). the process of procreation is the struggle for fitness.
