the issue with that justification is that your kids can't always enjoy being you like how American boomers had a massive inferiority complex about how they weren't their gigachad dads fighting Nazi Germany but instead had to cope with massacring innocent Vietnamese farmers

You don't need reasons to have kids most people just seem to do it as habit or something that needs to be checked off a list. Lust is a simple enough reason. Personally I don't find anything that enjoyable or interesting enough to have children for. I'm starting to think that every joy is just something thats done to avoid suffering or to cope with suffering. If you don't have children you won't create that dilemma. Hope you like that bring down
