If its written by academics it probably will be very fucking boring or very hard to read because of the language. And since its in French I have no idea what it's about. Obviously I've never read the book but I'm just going by instinct

no? books written by academics are usually easy to read because they speak in the very simple and plain language of empiricism and science. chomsky is so straightforward a 12 yo would probably understand him on their first try. the people that use convoluted language are either hacks or people compensating for their non-academic background
