I appologize in advance for making another religion thread.
It's occured to me that you don't really need to be an atheist to be an anti-theist. Even if you take at face value the existance of deities and similar entities, a lot of them are fucking scam artists and/or abusive to the people that workship and/or work do with them. Especially the abrahamic ones.
Worship is on the tin parasocial activity, devoting time to glazing them without expectation of something in return.
Working with a deity is at least a bit better, because you're laying out a general agreement of what both parties get out of the activity, but you get into the specifics and it seems like the person doing the work is getting shafted to obtain something that there are both secular and atheistic spiritual routes to obtain–and the alternatives usually being much easier.
I'm going to remain agnostic as I don't really concern myself deeply with this stuff, but I could easily see a pantheist anti-theist having a coherent viewpoint: that deities exist but people shouldn't worship or do work with them, and perhaps even seek out ways to stop them from screwing over more people.

God being real or not is relevant to the fact that almost all the people telling you god is real are looking to get your money work and boyhole, it's all a scam and to get you to think you deserve being scammed
in fact isn't this marx's main gripe against religion, I dunno I don't read
