Develop a taste for EDM with harsh noise elements. Noise parts make it completely incomprehensible and distasteful to most people, EDM parts ward off pretensiousness of pure noise wall by actually being fun. A testament to your capacity to enjoy music purely for it's own sake.

I have a hard time with music since I my taste (gaming/anime/pop) is mocked and seen as not real music, but everytime I listen to "real music" I just get disappointed.

Doesnt help that everytime I listen to it I'm on edge like I'm gonna have to argue with a /mu/ fan or a fantano head or one of these two posters:
