From what I hear most guys aren't getting laid. But I don't know I hardly leave the house except for work and the few guys I work are married at least most of the ones that are 30 or over. The younger guys might largely be single. I myself am single and over 30.

Women are generally more sought after and don't have to do as much to initiate a relationship as a guy. There seem to be many strategies to get women as a man but they generally involve men being able to read a woman or take a risk that may or may not pay out. Women generally just need to put out subtle signs and either accept or decline offers. For most of guys being timid or shy won't get you anywhere unless you get really lucky and if you are timid and shy you might just end up missing signs of interest a woman might give off anyways. And another thing being 6 ft is probably not that impressive in the greater scheme and while it does help to be taller to be attractive from what I see a lot of guys are at that height or taller o it's not that uncommon and also the without charisma or knowledge it won't help you much
