Is it just me or if hetero men and women weren‘t sexually attracted to each other they would mostly dislike each other?

Also, why does the shitposting board have a character minimum?

I'm starting to think that men and women aren't meant to live together to raise children. The men are just meant to impregnate women and move on. Maybe people need more training and counseling before they even attempt to form romantic relationships and it needs to start in childhood

my prevailing theory of human relationships is that people are inherently homosexual, and thats why marriages have to be "arranged" and ritually reproduced in culture, because in nature, men and women do not mix well. thats why even withour racial segregation, we still have gender segregation. in this time of sexual liberation, we naturally see a rise in homosexuality, childlessness and so on, because family structures are heteronormative constructs.

It's not that men and women dislike each other. It's that they dislike the social roles they're obligated to perform in order to have relationships with each other. Both sides have been hoodwinked into policing each other's behavior and creating more conflict. (This is not to say patriarchal domination doesn't exist but it is not the only factor)

To be officially married isn't the point (also legally there is such a thing as de facto relationships if youved lived together for some time), what I'm saying is that just because women want more doesn't mean it's a ride or die relationship, to pump and dump is just rational for a man because relationships are just not worth it when women can just walk away for any reason, marriage used to be a safe space to invest in love which made it a more rational now it's just minmaxing whatever they can get out of eachother and the romance is just a facade

Because they mistake the prescribed social role for the "nature" of the opposite sex, while often actively upholding and reinforcing the very thing that is causing them grief. Slut shaming is probably the most obvious example of this, where men police women to be chaste but simultaneously complain about how difficult it is to get women to have sex with them.
