I exist in a paradoxical state as a communist hating the USA but considering moving there if circumstances allow.

Just to get away from domestic reactionaries, who I cannot stand the sight of at this point. Also the backwards culture where gay couples can't kiss in public, the closed-off people you can't befriend, the sheer non-existence of communists to meet.

Nah this is reasonable, go for somewhere in Scandinavia though. The US is absolutely full of reactionary filth and has pretty poor living conditions if you make less than 50k a year.

OP here, I wrote "if circumstances allow". It's not a choice thing. I discovered I have distant relatives who are coming to visit and apparently they would be willing to help any of us interested to move there. Although I don't know the details and I certainly wouldn't do anything illegal.

Two scenarios thats gonna happen when you go to the US:
>go illegally, some cop, ICE or border agent fucks you over sooner or later, get sent to El Salvador work camp
>go legally, some cop, ICE or border agent fucks you over sooner or later, get sent to Alabama work camp
