Anyone ever been to jail? What was it like for you? Might be going I don't get a good plea deal and I already spent a night before getting out on bond. Any advice?

Don’t have experience, but I wouldn’t expect anything from it. Maybe you can train to pass the time, but I’d imagine that most of the time in jail is spent sitting around, sleeping, doing menial chores, and not talking to anyone—so basically like what most adults already do in their own homes. Other than that, there’s only unemployment and shitty food to leak ahead too.

Yeah, I've been two times. First time I was in a local sheriff's station where there was probably like less than half a dozen prisoners a few days before my charges were dropped, second time I spent it in the bullpen for 36 hours on the weekend before I was arraigned. I doubt there is any advice I could give you if you've already been. Just be polite with everyone and be ready to throw down to the death with people if they come at you. I had 0 problems with anyone but I'm ready to kill a motherfucker.

Actually, I was also in a lockdown unit on a 5150 which is basically jail but much worse. 0 security at all and you're in there with all these prison veterans. I actually did get assaulted by this 300 pound 6 foot prison vet who ran up on me in the bathroom while I was taking a piss and pinned me against a wall by my neck but he didn't hurt me at all. This was all because he was, in fact, actually insane, despite the fact he was getting let out of prison to the psych ward like One Flew Over The Cuckoo's nest. The reason he did it was all some very stupid misunderstanding. In fact, what he yelled in my face was "What did I say about running your mouth!" But everyone else in there liked me. It's much easier to just keep to yourself and there will be no misunderstandings with the psychos and retards.

It was funny too, when I got out to the open unit, some guy in there who was my roommate told me he was previously in the lockdown unit, and he made friends with that guy who ran up on me, because he said "I was like let me make friends with the biggest dude in here," and it was that dude. It's funny because I ended up doing the same thing after that guy left and another big chonker came in there. I would advise just to not associate with them too much.

I went to jail for 24 hours because my ex room mate kept doing meth and whippits. He saw my serial experiments lain lookin room and started accusing me of stalking him and spying on him.
He kept saying he was gonna get a restraining order.
I didn't belive him.
It ruined my life for half a year.
I lost my job, caught covid and had to move and basically went broke.
Jail sucked. I was in a cell meant to hold 2 but it held 3. My cell mates were ok, one a young kid who was nice to me and another dude who didn't talk.

The worst thing is the boredom. You can only sleep so much :(
I hope never to go back to jail. Im too soft. For like am month after I got out I had brain problems from the trauma.
