No, I just have a greater awareness of how the world works and ability to avoid bourgeois psyops, I'm a first worlder so I dont have any armed struggles to join other than unions, protests and spreading consciousness through propaganda. To answer OP I was always progressive. I never had a major shift in my ideology other than movnig more and more to the left every year.
Over the years my religious views shifted from religious to super atheist to secular satanist.

Brain development is really just a willfully misunderstood/misinterpreted neurobiological phenomenom that's used to willfully patronise young adults.

It has helped me make friends, understand better what is going on in the world as well as world conflicts. And seeing China, how it is moving forward, gives me some hope. It's also a matter of time before capitalism collapses. I read somewhere that hope is revolutionary, it may sound dumb and naive but in a world where misery is the rule and people unconsciously know everything is so fucked up, hope makes you see a light in the dark
