It took me a couple days sessions to get through the translators of The Ego and His Own glazing Max, but once I got into what Max actually wrote a single page only takes a minute or so unless I need to stop to take notes. It's like if The Very Hungry Caterpillar started with a college level essay.

That's not just theory, any old book or classic that gets picked up by a publisher has an introduction filler like that. Sometimes it hypes up the book for more than it what it is.
