If the afterlife exists and hell is real, then wouldn’t anyone that dies living their lives as a warrior or a fighter spend an eternity fighting and killing demons all day? Doesnt sound too bad or that much different than being alive. Also if one does end up spending an eternity fighting and killing demons, why exactly would they not be allowed into heaven?

no they would be tortured and buttraped by demons all day

I think reincarnation is the most logical probability based on mostly nothing. BUT, if you ask anyone, what would they most like to do? Be young again. It seems the most logical approach to human development would be incremental incarnations. It is the most logical baseless speculation for sure, and I give it my stamp of approval.

But it does not exist so don't waste your time being concerned about this.

reincarnation makes absolutely no sense. say you are born to a homeless family as punishment for something bad youve done in your past life, but that past "you" is not the current "you", you are being punished for someone elses wrongdoings. it just makes 0 sense

it‘s the same soul, just with your memory wiped

>>692070
if you wipe someones memory they cease to be who they are and become a blank slate. doesnt matter if its the same soul

>>692062
that sounds pretty good

Reincarnation makes more sense than eternal rewards and eternal punishment.
Who really deserves to be eternally rewarded with Heaven, and who deserves to be eternally punished with Hell?

Who says reincarnation destroys memory?
It just hides your memory in your present form.
Reincarnation could explain why transhumanists want to be a woman, maybe they were in their past lives.

Probably just time loop until egoism is achieved then sent on to level 2

Why do people always assume MtF with transgenderism?

>>692425
This.
It's not logical for your sentencing to exceed the list of crimes done.

I would rather hellfire for punishment only as long as the person's lifespan.

yes it makes more sense, but its still contradictory.
at the end of the day our conception of an afterlife is just a way to cope with our own mortality and with the lack of justice in the world. if there really was life after death, it would probably be very different from our own human moralist conceptions.

that implies that someones personality is based solely on an intrinsic quality belonging to them and not the environment they were raised in.

Reminds me of the dream diary that inspired LSD simulator.

At one point there's a dream that the author recognizes as a dream she used to have whenever she had a fever as a young child, but that had forgotten a long time ago and was just then remembering again.

It also reminded me of a dream I had myself in which I interacted with an elderly woman that I immediately recognized as a very important figure in my early childhood but that had completely forgotten about for some reason. I remember feeling so sad. Anyway my point is that maybe past lives are just like that.
