It's funny how you base normality on the science where science is the inquiry of true knowledge in natural phenomena with instruments already set as true and therefore not inquired.

Also, there's a saying that is called 'survivors bias' , its how some biologists say that the normal mode of life-cycle is based on reproduction simply because all observed creatures are reproducing, whilst not keeping in mind that the creatures-species who couldn't reproduce are already extinct, but they existed(as how some members in most of the species won't reproduce)
