overcoming cost of living or where do you go when you can't afford the cheapest motel
i basically live out of a backpack but having a shelter is pretty clutch, also having a dog would make being on the streets much harder, because I'm still trying to find employment and where do you put the dog when your working? also the amount of temporary spots that don't allow dogs is basically all of them.
$380 a week for a motel room is not sustainable. that's the cheapest rate in the city. since all of my money has to go to this, I can't do anything or even get essential stuff (ie I have no phone rn). Might be better to be street homeless or something just to save money.
Feels like an insurmountable challenge just to stay housed.
