Religious parents, especially if they're ethnic, are fucking miserable. No ounce of fun or empathy.

Mostly they're often suffering from some unresolved emotional trauma.

Hating children can be a vulgar feminist reaction to the fact women are told they have a biological imperative to raise children and pushed into caretaker roles. Either children shouldn't exist within families or the family unit would need to be abolished.

Children are usually seen as a means to an end. Whether it's for labor or show if it's anything else they're seen as an impediment. I don't think most people really want children but biology and society make it a given for most people. I think it really does take a village to raise a child since most parents are deficient in my opinion . I think it's generally great that people are having less children on average

Irony is, I've encountered more obnoxious behavior from adults than children. The beauty of children is that while they get upset about not getting what they want, they usually find something else to cheer themselves up and forget about their indignation.
Kids also have favorite toys they bring with them so they keep to themselves more often.
(Irony is, thanks to smartphones/tablet computers, kids scream and run around less)
Adults on the other hand, wanna doxx you or report you to your work manager for the slightest inconvenience.

I too, believe that childrearing should be licensed. Unfortunately, people think this is wrong.
People have no problem restricting recreational activities,no problem neutering dogs, no problem with throwing people in jail for shoplifting a candy bar.

Yet, asking for a mandatory competency training program for parenthood is draconian.
