Admitedly l live in a pretty rural area but l have a hard time imagining anything is any cheeper in the city.
ln my area there are basically two options it seems:
1.
>Corporate ass chain bar (Buffalo Wild Wings,Primanti Brothers, Rubee Tuesdays ect)
>Decent prices on Beer but absolutely criminal prices on food: $15.99 for 10 chickwings $11.99 for 5 shittle little pretzel ""knots"" (cubes), $9.99 for a plate of fucking tator tots.
>Can stream just about any sports game you want always blaring the coverage or music to fucking loud
>Staff/Customers tend to have normie lib politics

>Redneck ass "hole in the wall" dive bar
>Same half decent deals on drinks but food tends to be significantly cheaper (60 cent wings on wing night, Burger and fries for $10, apitizers which are actually under $10 for a plate cheese curds or gravy fries or what have you)
>All the TVs are constatly playing Fox News with the sound off making it so quite if the bar isn't packed other people can hear every word of your conversation with a friend and its like pulling fucking teeth to get them to turn on an NFL game which they may not even have.
>Staff/Customers are all some brand of reactionary.
Are there any other options l am unaware of?
Any chain bars you guys know of that actually have decent deals on food??
One of the few social things l have is going to the bar once a week with some friends from the McDonalds l work at and between bills and putting $100 a month away for savings l can only afford to spend 25-30 bucks a week on the outing.
lts also one of the only places l've ever succesfully done any actual work place organizing: it was on a bar night a couple years ago that we finally got everyone in our franchize to demand $15 an hour or we'd walk out.
lt's not just for the sake of my own personal affinity for hot wings and beer: we need a place that's cheap and at the least isn't actively hostile to people having left leaning conversations at the bar.
Anyone have any suggestions??

Bar scenes outside the city suck, but bar scenes within the city are full of hipster assholes that are a buzzkill too. It’s better not to waste money unless you have a good group of friends or the very rare instance where you find a scene that has fun stable people to drink with.

Not sure if this is true everywhere but my local Applebees has a $10 burger and endless fries; might be worth looking into if you have one in your area.
