Whats the big deal about David Lynch? I seen his works and they are alright but people act like he was god

I don't think Lynch's work is as simply "nostalgic" as people describe it tbh, Eraserhead for example seems pretty thoroughly negative about the Americana it's drawing from

The thing here is that liberals think that liberalism means specifically the democrats and not anything to the right or left of them, whereas communists know liberalism means anything pertaining to bourgeois politics and with the capitalist mode of production fully developed everywhere today the only "progressiveness" left is abolishing class society.
