Back to School in America

Say what you want about the guy who made the tweet that I showed but he was exactly right. America is an extremely violent country, we will never get any gun control laws and that is why all of the School shooting debates revolve around how thick the doors should be or how we need to arm teachers. They always say “I use my second amendment rights to protect my first amendment rights” meaning that they will start a revolution but that is not going to happen. Currently we have a fascist in office and I don’t see anyone staging a revolution using their AK-47’s. American’s only use guns to kill students and random people in shopping malls and never politicians or billionaires. Whenever a powerful person is capped it’s a unique case like with Luigi. And we all know what happened with Luigi, he gained support on TikTok and fell out of trend and everyone moved on.

Why do gun control when you can make bank on a whole new cottage industry of "school shooting prevention consultants" selling shit like bulletproof backpacks and safe room installations for schools? It reminds me so much of those home security salesmen who'll bust out windows in a neighborhood at night and then show up the next day offering their products to home owners.

i have relatives in the US and one of them has a kid works in a trade equipping some type of protection that makes windows more durable in shootings. They were really proud of their kids (why wouldn't you be), as this seemed a lucrative business opportunity but you have to question the whole thing is just layers of middlemen making profit for something that should be completely unnecessary.

>another thread about some shit that happened in the US
omg you have a whole thread for this
