Breaking political power of groups who do evil is often easier done without killing then, running around systemically exterminating people makes you very unlikable.

Killing people isn't the solution but it's a part of the process that will happen. Even if every capitalist died right now the system would keep going because the workers are trained to reproduce it, and the systems in place are built to function as capitalism. Hell, since capitalists do no actual work themselves we'd barely notice their absence. Things would continue as normal pretty much.

the issue is that you dont see how bad systems come from bad people running them - so if you could press a button killing all evil people, everything would be good, since a good person could not manage a bad system.

good people are perfectly capable of managing bad systems, and bad people are even capable of managing good ones to some extent. it's all about incentives. if a sociopath can achieve good things for themselves the best by working within the system then that's what they'll do.

likewise if good people get punished for trying to do good things then 95% of them will not do many of them.

then theyre not wholly good. goodness is thankless and may even be harmful to perform, yet it is still necessary. all evil is the result of the failure of goodness therefore. democritus writes that what is best is to vanquish evil before it has time to bloom, like pulling out a weed. this is the principle in play. also, sociopaths are not necessarily evil; evil is not a lack of care, but is weakness. all evil people are utterly weak.

I grew up in the south and it’s was always the boomers whom would talk like this, and think any sort of mishap or disagreement was some predatory energy out to get them.

They think that video games was making kids rebellious and bloodthirsty.
They think that not wanting to read the Bible in school is why juvenile delinquency is “the highest it’s ever been” despite the fact that most of them were delinquents in their heyday and had more adult vices than the child growing up on video games
