I'm not going to sit here and defend the former suggested new cracker barrel logo because it truly is bland and it does show how corporations nowadays are going for a bland consumerist look. However, the public outcry over it was absolutely retarded. People really were surprised that their sysco food restaurant changed. Why do boomers and southern rightoid rednecks cling to consumerism so much? Also the claim that it was "woke" was absolutely hysterical. apparently any time something changes ever even if it's not a progressive change is woke now.

Are you currently posting this via carrier pigeon? The American left has the least basis for accusing anyone of consumerism, which has been the complaint of reactionaries for 600 years (did you know those peasants have candles, coffee, and tea now).

>the claim that it was "woke" was absolutely hysterical

The CEO who explained why it was good was a lady with danger glasses. They were asking for it.

The Amish own restaurants and sell their products in Amish supermarkets

>>705570
Some of them also buy from supermarkets and use self checkout machines

I work in retail and have seen them do this

the truth nuke is the real reason they remade the logo is because it's cheaper not to print the guy and his barrel. this is why corporate logos tend towards abstract designs nowadays. it's a cost cutting measure. making it about woke or whatever is just people not understanding capitalism.

You worded it much better than I ever could. Trvth Nvke

>>705577
I bet getting the committee to design a new logo and replacing every single sign on thousands of restaurants would cost more than not doing anything.

It was called woke because of the idea that anything given the bland corporate makeover is intended to appeal to urban Starbucks-loving millennials, and Cracker Barrel is trad or something.

Am I the only one who honestly thinks the (cancelled) new logo is better? Yes it's a bit basic but better than this cluttered mess. And what the hell is that shape, a kidney bean?

I thought cracker barrgel was a brand of cheese

what does the cracker in cracker barrel mean anyway

>>705620
Literal crackers that are supposed to go in the barrel. That is crackers that you eat

>>705625
Is that how they did it in ye olde days, they stored crackers in barrels?

>>705629
I believe so. They were seen as a point where people would stand around and chat. Apparently they were common in country stores in the South in the early 1900s.

>>705625
Who the hell buys an entire barrel of crackers?

>>705635
I think the stores bought the barrels and customers would walk in and buy them by the pound or just take handfuls and socialize with others in the store.

Mii~, you have to be nice to the anti-woke Trve Americans. A lot of them read at a sixth-grade level. Once the Cracker disappeared from the Barrel, they had no idea where Cracker Barrel was!

>just return to pre capitalism
missing the point bozo
