I never used twitter. I only used that mastodon thing briefly and it felt like a weird kind of feudalism where every site is its own tyrannical island fief ran by the local wacko-loon, and if you want a reasonable experience you have to host yourself, which is too much effort if every other site is just gonna block you for your taste in anime or some nonsense.

I pretty sure I was only on the flag ship instance of mastodon, which had all kinds of other sites blocked for no apparent reason. I looked into some obscure ones including furry, but they all had some off prejudice. Recently I found out about Baraag or however it's called, which seemed interesting because I like drawing and looking at uncensored art, but you need to give proof of your art to sign up, and also every other fedi site I looked at had them blocked for seemingly no reason at all. I guess uncensored lewd drawings hurted their feelings. That misskey site is the most interesting to me, but its for Japanese only, and it is also blocked by all the major mastodon instances for "inappropriate content" so I don't know how you're supposed to interact outside your own lord's fortress walls.

It's not "varied taste" to be attracted to attractive women.

A lot more art instances federate with them than I suspected. Instance I use has a "does not defederate by assocition" clause, which I suspect is becoming a trend, which means admins that used to block trigger-happily are going back through and unblocking to open things up a bit.

Additionally, I wouldn't care too much about federating with the "major" instances, most of fedi is defederated by them, putting them in a comparatively small archepeligo of their own.

That's kinda part of the reason, the flagship sites are so mindnumbingly barren and uninspired. But I don't want to be beholden to some small-time sysadmin who could just delete me for a shitpost they didn't like. Or decide they don't wanna run a site anymore.

Only small minded people dont appreciate all forms of logical and functional female beauty, if you like flat then like it, if you like giant breasts then like it!
