Like I said, I think autistically inclined people are liable to infodump about some subject without gauging if the person wants to keep hearing about it. That applies to every story too. Get to the fucking point. When you give detail after detail, and the other person has no idea what kind of emotional response you want or what reaction they should give, that stressed them out. Or you bore them out of their minds.
So yeah think of it like 'factoids' short interesting pieces of information to give someone. Likeable people know a lot of interesting things about a wide range of subjects. You could mention something about the local history of the place you live that they might now, anything tangentially related to the conversation or your surroundings or whatever. People might remember some interesting piece of information you told them and want to share it with other people even, and they'll remember they learned it from you. That makes you an interesting person.
