Basically those place are a completely alienating mess worse for one's mental health than most gulags because you are essentially kept away in a room with no meaningful interaction with other prisoners and every new day is the same as the last. He also said these prisons also have a higher suicide rate than "normal" crueltymaxxing jails.
They are closer to japanese style prisons in spirit than what people imagine. Except the latter teach you a certain discipline while you are left to enthropy in the nordic style daycare prison.

yeah because at a normal crueltymaxxing jail you can't even access tools by which to kill yourself. it's very easy to get raped in the shower or tortured by guards, but hard to kill yourself.

normal crueltymaxxing jails have this too. it's called solitary confinement, and it comes without a couch and TV.
