That would be really funny if this wasn't primarily the doing of the government. Both Republicans and Democrats increased the police state, even during the BLM protests when Dems were virtue signalling by kneeling for a photoshoot. Most American citizens are not happy with the police and don't believe the fear mongering about rampant violent crime. It's really just right wing chimps who do, while the elites are building a police state because of the foreseeable economic collapse.

Kind of an aside to this. I occasionally watch youtube videos about true crime, and the comment sections are always filled to the brim with americans demanding that everyone be executed and calling for gods blessing while doing it. If there is ever a crime in europe, where prison sentences are more realistic. The yanks will whine that europeans are too sensitive (lol) and should just kill everybody without trial.

I'm afraid the average american is too stupid to actually understand concepts like justice, rehabilitation, recidivism, etc. All they really want is immediate emotional satisfaction.
