The Lorax is Soviet propaganda
I jokingly made this chart explaining that the Lorax is a metaphor for the February revolution and I can’t unsee it, it makes too much sense: not only does the Lorax look like Karl Marx but the Prussian government didn’t listen to him and caused him to leave Germany. But then the German government sent Vladimir Lenin on a train to Petrograd in order to stir up commotion in Russia in order to weaken it. And O’hares bodyguards are obviously the Russian military because they were notorious for shooting protesters but ended up betraying the tsar in the February revolution when they buckled under the pressure of the protesters just like in the movie were they blast him off in the sky. And the mom character is obviously Alexander Kerensky who was the liberal leader of the provincial government before being overthrown by Lenin because she doesn’t like trees but still wanted to overthrow O’hare. The sequel outta be crazy. Also I bet if you tell this to conservatives seriously they would complain about this like it’s a Disney movie that had a gay kiss for 0.4 seconds.
