As a kid I always thought that going to space was pretty cool and I still think it is even though I’m no longer super obsessed with it. But even though I’m not a super big space nerd I still think that it would be objectively cool to go to the moon again and as a kid I always wondered why we haven’t gone to the moon again since 1972 and now I know that the reason why is because there is no prophet motive and the only reason why we did it in the first place was so we could flex. We traveled to the moon in the first place using a nationalized space travel industry and now that shit is entirely monopolized be Elon Musk.
