Why are capitalists rentcucks while commies are ownerchads?

they live with their parents

>>712766
Capitalists rent from their parents? Holy cuckeddddd

The more people pay rent in social housing owned by the government the less people own private property more socialister a society is, simple as, eastoids are turboliberal

In capitalism everyone rents. Even landlords rent while landlording

A house owner is not a landlord. Only if you collect rent from other people living in your property do you become a landlord.
Porky scares proles by telling them under socialism everybody is a rentcuck, when in reality under socialism everybody is an owner.

I'm a communist and my family owns like 5 apartments

>>712762
state planned housing works and therefore there's an excess of houses maybe

bump

Every public asset in Eastern Europe went through brutal privatization in the 90s. That includes communal housing. People were allowed to buy the apartments they lived in for pennies

Not only are capitalists rentcucks when it comes to housing, they are also rentcucks when it comes to their relationships.
A partner of a capitalist is always for sale.

the proletariat owns nothing idiot, you just want social democracy

>>713276
Means of production, tard

>>713314
>dictatorship of the proletariat is when the majority of a country owns a house (also a means of production somehow)
this place is a never ending fountain of retardation

>>713317

>>712762

Literally the next line in the text by Engels.
>>713321
>people here havent read even the most basic shit
Yeah like you, read the fucking text you post as evidence next time, keeeeeeeek

>>713321
Engels argues against that argument in the link you posted, are you stupid

>>713334
Your image does not contradict the previous quote's claim, that homeowners are not proletarian, only reinforced that despite not being proletarian, they are not capitalists either.

>>713384
Dude, read: https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1872/housing-question/
Engels argues against the arguments by Sax.

>>713385
Sax's claim is that the proletariat becomes capitalist by owning a house. Engels says that they stop being proletarian, but do not become capitalists. What is so hard to understand about this?

>>713387
Why are you reading text written by Engels as if it was the bible, dogmatically picking and choosing as you see fit? Engels argues against Sax throughout the whole chapter, the chapter is literally called 'How The Bourgeoisie Solves The Housing Question', Engels dismantles Sax's reasoning that proles owning housing stop being proles:
>In other words, Herr Sax hopes that by an alteration of their proletarian status such as would be brought about by the acquisition of house property, the workers would also lose their proletarian character and become once again obedient toadies like their forefathers who were also house owners. The Proudhonists should take that to heart.
Read.

"Just as the abolition of property in land is not the abolition of ground rent, but its transfer, although in a modified form, to society. The actual seizure of all the instruments of labor by the working people therefore does not at all exclude the retention of the rent relations."
https://www.marxists.org/archive/marx/works/1872/housing-question/ch03.htm

Anyway, people owning houses as individuals strikes me as stupid. When I change jobs, I want to live near my job. People don't apply to a university that would be a good fit because they can't find a place to live nearby. Renting in public housing should be the normal way of living under both capitalism and socialism. Individual home ownership is both economically inefficient and makes these people politically reactionary.

>>713586
>When I change jobs, I want to live near my job.
How about this: You don't have to change jobs because you're not laid off every 5 years or you're not priced out of rising rent prices.

>>713317
You need a house in order to have séx

>>713622
There would be technological progress in a socialist society that progressively makes jobs redundant and lead to people being laid off and having to move on. Many people also want to change jobs because they want to experiment different things.
