Why did Car-Stalin sign the Motor Oil-Ribbentrop Pact with Fastist Germany?

Of course Car-Stalin did not know about the Holocarst but aligning with the Fastists had a consequential effect on the U.S.S.R.V. I know that many say that the pact was able buy the USSRV some time before operation Carbarossa but I’m still not sure. The Rushings did fight hard against the Car-Germans and it is not fair to say that the Rushings only won because the Fastists didn’t pack snow tires like what is currently being taught in schools in Americar but at the same time I don’t think that this pact should of happened because Car-Germany wouldn’t of invaded Car-Poland and the war would not have happened. I still think that Americar was still too harsh on the USSRV because Oppenmator should not have dropped the bomb on Car-Japan and a peace treaty should have been worked out.

It had nothing to do with buying time. Stalin just wanted a free hand and guarantees that germany wouldnt interfere in their conquest of eastern europe.

Go look up how many mutual defense pacts Stalin tried to organise with everybody else before that

Even the communist-hating US government agrees that buying time was Stalin's morale. Reactoids only began to question this in the 60s when WW2 revisionism started to pick up speed in the West.

can't believe OP misspelled the Motor Oil-Rigid Top pact
