what level of treatlerism is this

this cant be life
it just cant

Since there was no violence. No beatings, no shootings nor murders this would be on the lower level side

You'd think scalpers would be more organized about it to do it as fast as possible, but nah they're like fish at a whale fall.

I don't understand why people are so obsessed with consooming shit. Like scalpers bought all the pokeymans? Ok who cares, they're worthless anyways.

The guy trying to stack the two giant cardboard pallets on his cart and then in the very next scene showing them on the floor nearly empty is magnificent environmental storytelling.

It's a copyright thing.
- Tournaments are held at game shops, which sell cards
- Tournaments are required by companies to require only "real" (official print) cards be used
- If shops don't enforce this they get their contract to sell cards and hold touraments revoked

If copyright was abolished they would be worthless.

Yeah I mean I dunno though, can't you just compete with your friends. What's the point in winning tournaments that are just pay to win anyways. Meh whatever.

>>716701
>can't you just compete with your friends.
That's how most people into TCGs play, but the tournament people got money and scalpers can get a consistent paycheck from it.

scalping doesn't really work. scalpers rarely sell all the items they scalped and make a large ROI. they're gambling against the market. retail is already marked up from real cost of production. they are doing double mark up in a less organized way than retail does. i've seen pathetic scalpers outside sports games selling tickets at last minute for 1.5 normal price. they are lucky to get rid of 1/4 of them.

>>716688
Did you expect scalpers to be intelligent? All this effort and risk just to get a profit of 5-20%. Its like all landlords being coincidentally on the same level of stupidity.

if it didnt work people wouldnt doit

Is it really cheaper to buy them individually from Costco instead of buying them in bulk from a supplier?

I actually don't think there's anything wrong with scalping in particular. It is not worse than any other business (they are all reprehensible).

>>716752
people do plenty of shit that doesn't work in the long run because they got lucky once or twice. it's gambling addiction.

>>716759
retailers sell at a markup because they buy bulk. things are cheaper bulk because one big transaction costs less than many small transactions. Scalpers just try to double down on this. but neither actually produce commodities. They just resell commodities. It's merchant's capital rather than industrial capital.

Its just manchildren being babies. Buying a brand new car every 6 months is far worse "treatlerism".
