3. the Non Aligned Movement wanted sovereignty from the USA and the USSR, not "gibs"
4. what we see in reality is the USA overthrowing governments that wanted sovereignty and protectionist, nationalist development and installing comprador regimes that embraced free trade at the barrel of a gun and took out massive "developmental" loans with huge interest rates that were coupled with "structural adjustment programs" that demanded things like privatization, austerity, deregulation, union busting, direct foreign investment, raw material exports, etc.
