That and the accumulation of “low brow” media made by real people: reaction videos, shitposts, vlogs, compilations, let’s plays, TikTok and YouTube shorts in general, lolcow nonsense, celeb drama content in general, reactionary videos, (usually sexually charged) click bait, and scams. I’ll admit, it’s gotten worse, but it’s not hard to still find cool stuff online provided you (should) have ad blockers, ai filters, and extensions to filter out stuff you don’t care for.

I watch cable sometimes when I am in a motel for work and bored. I am not a retard, so I use ad block on all my devices so I never see any ads ever so it is always a trip watching cable and seeing every celebrity living being a shameless whole doing embarrassing commercials. Really puts them in a different light.
