>>71Why do you say they aren't as big or as good anymore? I'm guessing it's because when people first got into anime they wanted to create every possible permutation of attaching every song to every anime ever, but then the Youtube copyright strikes killed half of our work and we just gave up on that hobby. (I used to download a ton of them from "Anime music videos.com," before Youtube existed.)
Fuck copyright. It kills creativity. And fuck the big Anime conventions for commercializing every niche of the otaku culture and making AMV making feel dirty with their silly contests.
No.80
>>79>Why do you say they aren't as big or as good anymoreYou explained it pretty well, but I'll add that AMV makers also got lazy because, rather than synching up the music to motions and scenes in anime, the just put 10 second clips of scenes and a music track over it.

Another good Russian AMV is Красная Селёдка [Naroden Genesis Evangelion] (translating as Red Herring).
It really does the Soviet industrial theme well with a lot of original animation and graphic design combined with Neon Genesis Evangelion (which is quite popular in Russia). The amount of work that went into this is very professional and contains a lot of original content within it, all matching the music quite well and, in my opinion, transferring the passion and feverous feeling of the soviet industrial passion. Very tastefully done in my opinion.

You know, it’s weird. Panty and Stocking were angels, but were selfish and horny/ greedy af (respectfully). As Scanty said, they don’t have any morals whatsoever. Speaking of which, we then have Scanty and Kneesocks. Being demons, we would’ve expected them to be the epitome of selfish and, well, evil. But instead, they were disciplined and mannerly (minus the whole trying to kill the MCs thing). I loved that dynamic tbh. It’s almost as if the writers took the two pairs of girls and switched their personalities. Btw, unpopular opinion, but I prefer Scanty and Kneesocks over Panty and Stocking. They were just funnier imo (except for the whole incest factor. That was incredibly unsettling.) No.99

It's a peer to peer decentralized video platform part of the Fediverse like Mastodon. Basically what Bitchute lies about being but in reality. Odysee has more of an actual userbase where various YouTubers upload to both sites for Odysee to be their backup for stuff YouTube deletes or if they get their account suspended. Odysee is a mix of centralized and some decentralized features like they cant remove videos if they have seeders just remove llinks to it, so if the links are backed up somewhere content is still viewable but it uses blockchains. They arent so strict as YouTube on content so may be worth seeing if they tollerate AMVs and let them be seen.
