Any shooters that ONLY feature guns and artillery? I don’t mean in the sense that either the player or the enemy has access to guns. I mean that only ranged warfare involving guns and artillery is present throughout the entire play through. I hate melee combat and fighting opponents that are forced into coming near me to land a kill.

Uh Insurgency? I think there is a melee, but I don't member it ever coming into play in combat because you get killed by guns to easy for that to ever happen.

ARMA has 0 melee to my knowledge.

Nah, more like a single player game like stalker if mutants didn’t exist. I’m looking for a game that hits like far cry 2. Seriously, there is a shockingly low number of single-player shooters that only feature guns or ranged weapons as weapons.

Oh well check out Arma then. You were the guy doing the hardcore Far Cry 2 playthrough. There was this interesting Arma mod I wanted to try that sounds similar to the far cry experience but maybe better.

Squad 44 is a gun only fps. There's vehicles and stuff too but you need a full crew to man them effectively. Its WWII themed. Squad is the modern war version
