>>40174>No one wants the in betweenWell, the issue with milsims is that their maps are too big to have a quick play and that they notoriously lack a cinematic story mode with varied missions that CoD is so known for. CoD is repetitive mechanically but has more variety of scenarios and better graphics. Meanwhile, milsims have a varied gameplay (CoD has to rely on scripted sequences to imitate it) but the objectives are always the same and the graphics are less impressive. Combine the two and you have the best single-player military shooter evar. Which is what Brothers in Arms attempted to do. Plus it actually tried into drama and PTSD unlike CoD which is all style, no substance. If nobody wants that then… it's a damn shame. Maybe we wouldn't have endless CoD sequels if it wasn't for that.
