why did chinese developers make a black hawk down game that's more patriotic and a homage to the movie, than most cod games? i got three theories

one, they possibly saw how western gamers would gobble up anything that's unapologetically war and has no dei boogeyman, and wanted to capitatalize

two, they wanted to dunk on weak western gamers by making an anti-cod game, a game so hard and realistic where you don't regenerate health as fast (and bullets kill you fast like real life) and the somali enemy flanks you instead of acting like bullet sponges. (that ended up making many reviewbomb the game for being too hard)

or three they just love the movie
