Why would we follow this when we are a different brand?

I love the ki, stances and magic in Nioh but I absolutely loath the ridiculous amount of armor and weapons that get dropped by enemies with various different stats. Someone should take the ki and stances from Nioh but leave out the equipment min maxing.

my cold take is overture is good but not the goated with the sauce like it i think it could have been new weapons are good, enemy variety is good, bosses are good, but i feel round 8 still is finding its footing in the genre, Oz game will clearly have more character action genes than from soft, looking foward to dorothy doing ryu hayabusa shit

I'm pretty fond of enemies in Hytale being able to parry. Like a lot of games have parrying but I rarely see the enemies do it.
They do have a roll animation that's used for evading light fall damage, they could probably make a button to do that as a dodging option.

there's no good endings in dark souls because miyazaki was in his emo, misanthropic era in dark souls. humanity is an incomplete pile of curse that cant help but be burned to a crisp. the counterpart is the age of stars in elden ring, which is miyazaki in his happy optimist era, and that's like the dark ending if humanity wasn't a pile of misery. the only exception is usurpation of the fire which is humanity steals the fire for themselves, prometheus style.
