https://store.steampowered.com/app/1154840/Shadow_Empire/>Shadow Empire is a deeply complex, turn-based 4X wargame set in a post-apocalyptic sci-fi universe, uniquely blending grand strategy with highly detailed simulation and role-playing elements. Its standout features include a sophisticated procedurally generated planet system that dictates climate, resources, and lifeforms, ensuring massive replayability, and a central, rigorous logistics system that makes supply chains—for both military and civilian needs—critical to success, distinguishing it from most other 4X games. Furthermore, the game incorporates an intricate Leader and Political Management system, where players must recruit, manage, and deal with staff (who have their own skills and agendas) and their nation's internal factions, often through a Stratagem card system, adding a strong human and organizational dynamics layer to the conquest on the detailed, hex-based map.>>44530Looks like Civilization 6 kind of.
>>44556some people do just spend that much time playing games. definitely not healthy to do that much. but thats why i like strategy games and tactical shooters. former i can play at my own pace and pick up once every couple weeks and continue a campaign when i have the time, no need to "finish" the game. latter is already in 45-1hr matches & tac shooters are usually more about communication with team anyway so i can enjoy the competitive element and helping out the team without needing to play a ton to hit some fast twitch skill baseline
