Heres a map of the islands of figi.

Playing Cuphead. I bought it years ago but only got to the second island. This time I will be doing everything in the base game and the DLC.

Just got into Songs of Syx and Im honestly amazed by the massive scale of this game. It perfectly scratches that city-building autism itch. Havent yet got to warfare stage as still learning the economics/logistics of the game.

Finished Prince of Persia: Warrior Within. I played this back in the day but never completed the game. It doesn't feel as good as Sands of Time, only the combat is better, but the rest of the game ranges from pleasant to annoying.

I didn't like how you have to do segregation to stop people just randomly murdering each other, seems kind of chud-coded.

I was playing Demon Turf since I bought it forever ago and the sequel released, and it's a game I wish I could like but it has too many small problems that compounds and makes it boring and annoying to play and I just dropped it while doing the 2nd set of stages for the final world because of one level that was the sum of nearly every problem I have with the game. The first 2 worlds are just boring and bland aesthetically with 1-2 levels that are fun.

The hub world is this dark urban city and the the first world is just a desert, the next is a beach, then a city, and a snowy mountain. All the bosses are awful and don't even give you the game's main collectable for whatever reason. The game also makes you repeat a second version of the levels after you beat the boss if you want to actually fight the final boss which I would've been pissed if I didn't do the alternate stages as soon as the boss was done. Regardless, the only world I really liked was the 3rd one because the difficulty actual picks up, the ability you get from beating the 2nd world is fun and utilized a lot, and the visuals are the best of the 4.

The game has combat that's terrible. Instead of the typical jumping on enemies or hitting them you have to push/pull them around off ledges or into hazards. Your character's main attacks are slow and the enemies move around like they're sliding on ice. It wouldn't be so bad if for whatever reason the game decided to force you into combat sections that are required to progress. There's also things like ring challenges ala superman 64, general "get to the goal" stuff, and the god awful get the ball to the goal that thankfully is rarely used. A lot of this stuff just feels haphazardly thrown into a level and kills the pacing of it. The checkpoint system is interesting on paper but with no sense of how long a level is or how difficult an upcoming section will actually be you're just playing blind.

The abilities are uninteresting like the grapple hook that halts all your moment and can only be used on specific objects and adds nothing to your actual movement, fun like the wheel, or just frustrating to use like the glide and time bomb. The glide feels bad to control especially when the game constantly wants you to make precise landings with it which is complicated with depth problems of your character being a 2D sprite jumping around in a 3D space. The time ability is really cool but it's similar to the grapple hook where it's a specific use case thing rather than something that expands how you platform.

Batteries are the only collectable that actually gates progression. Cake unlocks mods, most of which are useless. Candy is only for cosmetics. There's a bunch of side stuff in the hub area that gets you more cake and candy like having to engage with the terrible ball physics in a "golf" minigame or doing combat challenges. You'll only bother for completionist's sake. There's also cartridges you collect in the hub world that are for bonus stages that of the few I played are honestly the most fun I had with the game.

been playing PAYDAY 2 again for a while

These fantasy creatures are completely different species like lizardmen or insectoids. I dont segragate and a few brawl deaths are nothing in a city of 5000. What I do is give different work preferences to different species to get their work bonuses and let they live where they want.

Look up Tamriel Rebuilt and Project Tamriel after you are done with vanilla.

>actually wearing any amount of armor
not optimal

>>46167

i play with this mod which disables every skill in the game so it's actually necessary to wear armor
