At nearly 30 I got my first job, a dead end job in a supermaket from a huge chain in my country
It is only for a week but they might permanently contract you

>>1613
I'll start tomorrow

you don't seem very happy about it

How did you end up in your situation?

>banished to board averaging 1 post a day

Is it bad to work in a supermarket? What hours are you expected to work? Personally I'd prefer to work later hours or even overnight just to avoid as much people as possible.

I wish I had a service job, unskilled manual labour sucks. But I guess it's 'grass is greener mentality'.

yeah same, i wish i had put a bit more effort into not ending up like this. i hate when performative leftoids (who dont even have a job or are wealthy themselves and let their middle class guilt get over critical reason) pretend being proletarian is sooo fucking cool and like more "moral" or whatever with their epic funny maymays, no its fucking not, the whole point of it is that its miserable and thats one of the big reasons it drives us to want to get rid of capitalism

From 15 to 23 20
I don't know I never worked never wished to and will start tomorrow

I have an IT technician (NOT degree) and fluent english but is useless

>>1616
I never wanted to work and was content with just gaming and having enough for basic needs, but turns out even those are becoming unsustainable so I need to help financially at home

>>1615
Why would I? Who likes to work???

>>1619
Supermarket job is manual labor no??

>>1624
actually never really thought about what people do, it seems they're mostly stacking shelves, scanning shit and doing customer service, which seems way easier than some jobs I've had in the past in factories and warehouses.

Because his whole life has just been abuse and disappointment and never just did the obvious answer of throwing a pipe bomb in someone's face

>>1625
What jobs have you ever had?

In supermarkets people carry heavy weights often

>>1627
>>1627
Empty buckets of water for eight hours at flower bouquet processing facility
Shoveling ice into boxes for eight hours or more and then stacking them onto pallets
Floor cleaner at slaughterhouse (covered in blood and fat in sweaty conditions)
Those are probably hardest jobs I had.

>>1628
Last one sounds particularly vile and mental breaking

>>1629
Yeah, you were forced to wear overalls in the heat and a chainmail tunic. you had to shovel and pick up offcuts and bones into crates or wheel barrow them into chutes and rake dripping blood from the carcasses into drains. Then during the assembly line break you had to hose the machines and floors down with boiling water and scrub the dried blood and guts off the machines all in time when break was over. They'd also process the stomachs of the cows and sometimes they'd fall off the 'assembly' line so you'd literally get covered in semi-digested shit not to mention the stomachs weigh alot. Also one time some guy showed me a fetus that one of the cows had when it was slaughtered. I remember distinctly how the first time I saw the cow get slaughtered I got an adrenaline rush. Even after all that I still eat meat but not as much.

>>1630
I'd turn vegan in a heartbeat if I were in that position

>>1621
>From 15 to 23 20
So about 3 to 11pm? I myself work those hours and I prefer it that way. I don't work at a supermarket though.

>>1619
Service jobs suck ass

>>1631
If you realise that why arent you already?

>>1613
Currently at work, I'm working non-stop like a slave restocking nonstop carrying massive weights while my allergies are attacking. I'm despising every second of it btw

>>1630
>one time some guy showed me a fetus that one of the cows had when it was slaughtered
Holy cow you killed hindu baby Jesus

>>1613
I just woke up and have to go there soon, this isn't life, you breathe to be there exclusively. Is horrible

Well anyways if you do not want a permanent job then just do a terrible job or just take off. Your coworkers probably won't like you much but it gives you an out.

Supermarket? That is not a bad job, if you THINK about it.
Before the job, you read 2 hours of Lenin (or Marx) and on the job you meditate on what you read.

Imagine being an office drone.

You sit comfortably on a chair the whole day, but your mind is forced to constantly THINK about some stupid excel bullshit.

This is a great opportunity to advance your communism. You have 8 hours of time where you do basically nothing with your brain. Use it and focus your mind

One more tip: Unlike online jobs, this is a great chance to hone your rhetorical skills.

You are always in contact with many comrade employees. Improve your social skills, and you will even be able to engage customers on socialist ideas.

Eventually, you will overthrow your boss to create the Socialist Democrat Soviet Republic of Walmart, when american civil war #2 starts.

Been in the grocery game for 15 years now, get out before its too late. By late I mean injured. I've seen lots of people that get hurt over the years and end up stuck here

>>1613
Last day is today, I'm completely exhausted both physically and mentally, I'm in pain in my entire body, especially lower back and knees, I don't know how people put up to this shit because I'm fucked up in a week let alone a month

>>1639
never worked as a cashier I see

Not to mention, i like the super market
It has stuff i like
Like yum yums. I remember working Wal-Mart and would just eat breakfast there. Skittles and monster coffee. That was my breakfast and i liked it. No twat mom to tell me that isn't a meal.

I liked organizing the aisles. I put this box on the shelf. No faggot boss is gonna go out of their way to tell me I'm putting it on the shelf wrong (some will still try…) There's no optics over how i put cereal on the aisle shelf. Ain't noone gonna be sued because the cereal called someone a racial slur or pushed them. (I might though lol)

Same even with cleaning. I mean people are nasty, but cleaning up aisles is fine. Oh your kid vomited? Thats ok. His diet is composed of sunshine, lollipops, and the belief that there's still good in the world. He doesn't goon all day, pretend to be a femboy "not like other girls teehee" than ghost you the minute he gets your cum like a fucking succubus demon. This is why LGBT face violence, this is why Jeffrey Dahmer existed.

Work isn't what makes jobs unbearable…people are.
Not some random ass customer.
Not someone bringing in their cute little dog.
Not even some belligerent crackhead.
The people I see every mother fucking day and still gotta argue with, deal with gas lighting and downright lies. I guess the "we're like a family" part is true. So like family I'm not above throwing a beer bottle at them and pulling their hair out.
