>blue collar
pays like shit, leaves you exhausted, will kill you
>retail and customer-facing
pays like shit, you basically endure abuse or idiocy for eight hours a day
>pink collar and healthcare
can pay very well but the hours are insane and you also have to endure abuse constantly
>white collar work
best-case scenario, pays well, but you're still sitting through 4-hour meetings of nothing but bullshit and wasting your life away in front of a computer
i know i'm missing something because i don't understand how wagies aren't constantly miserable 90% of the time.
yes, sometimes you get a job you just inherently vibe with, or you get to work on something you're actually proud of, like you save someone's life or you help in the construction of a nice useful building
but all of that is rare. the rest of the wagies, do they just dissociate and swallow it down? is it just genuinely not that bad from their point of view?
>>1665>can pay very well but the hours are insane and you also have to endure abuse constantlylol fuck doctors and nurses. if they hate it so much they can join me working minimum wage on retail
>pays well, but you're still sitting through 4-hour meetings of nothing but bullshit and wasting your life away in front of a computeroh no, the horror
>>1666i anticipated a lazy response like this and should have amended the op.
the point is not that the better jobs are anywhere near as "bad" as the worse ones. obviously all of us would rather earn absurd amounts of money to sit through meetings. the point is that at the end of the day you're still almost completely wasting your life with meaningless drudgery and idiocy. the realization should break most people who value anything at all but somehow doesn't.
i dont understand how people dont just kill themselves tbh. especially back in the day.
I will make my living off daytrading, I got a system, I will be the richest member of my family and I will use the power to push a maoist agenda.
>>1669>>1668>people with comfortable at best just boring at worst jobs and high salaries who can function as proper citizens of bourgeois society should break when thinking about itdo you have autism or something
>>1671given how i've explained my position very thoroughly and your posts so far have displayed near-zero reading comprehension, maybe you're the one who's autistic.
>white collar work
People here seem to be stuck in 20th century. Most white collar workers are low level clerks payed on par with unskilled manual labour.
>>1670>daytradingyou might as well bet on a roulette
>>1673truth nuke especially for 3rd world countries
Everyone is just coping. Most do it by starting families and getting into relationships. Drinking and drugs probably helps.
>>1674No actually it is true especially for 1st world countries, because that is where the skillset for those jobs is ubiquitous. Everybody acquires basic computer literacy by the time they leave high school, so being able to punch numbers into spreadsheet carries no premium.
>>1665Unarmed security guard at night shifts is like white collar ascended, best job for shitposting on leftypol and doing nothing for decades.
>but you are uhhh class traitor protecting porky property? The only ones who will try to attack a logistics hub at night time are petite-bourgeoisie organized corpo rivals or an inside-job just to test you. Nothing happens anyway + alarm is automatic and patrols arrive automatically so you have no role anyway.
>>1677Legit most unarmed security guards at night shifts just end up coming to sleep.
>>1677Best "job" ever, just make sure to take night shifts are a storage / warehouse / logistics hub, never take it at shopping centres, never take daytime shifts or vidrel happens.
Most effort you have to put in is come, write your name and stuff to your shift counts, do some radio calls to say "normal", and open and close gate.
If an alarm comes a patrol car comes its their problem.
>>1680You can ever get drunk, smoke weed or do other drugs, but theres a risk of an inspector patrol coming so you have to get a sense of their schedule, but even then if you can pull yourself enough to tell them everything is normal and let them give them signature on your book and look sober enough then it can work.
>>1681I cannot express this enough - best job ever
just find a place where trucks are counted on fingers per year and you wont get in trouble, but the more foreign trucks there are the more likely you are to find someone with contraband, then you can buy stuff like iranian cigarettes when you're not in iran, you can buy drugs from truckers, but the more trucks there are the more bother.
My job as unarmed security guard -
I wake up, dress up, go to work (this is the hardest part, 15 minutes of walking!), I arrive at work, I lay out my food, I eat, I set up my computer to shitpost on leftypol, I open my little book at desk and write my name and shit (so annoying), I shitpost for 12 hours watch movies and play games, I go home, sleep. Throughout the night I also eat if I haven't eaten everything at the beggining and drink either water / energy drinks/ coffee/ beer / ice tea or whatever I want. I get paid about 700 USD / EURO per month for doing this, sometimes more if colleague needs me to take a shift.
I pity the unarmed security guards at malls and shopping centres, I think they are retarded, they have to stand up for 12 hours and prevent theft - receiving the same salary as me when I sit for 12 hours and do nothing not defending porky commodities.
>>1683If anyone remember the post about me clogging the toilet at work with the Lenin picture in the OP that was me
>>1683is there a way to distinguish the "active" security guard roles from the more sedentary ones? like a keyword or something.
>>1685Ask if their legs hurt lol
>>1674just watch me uygha, I'm gonna make so much money it's gonna be hilarious, I'm gonna be rich as fuck but also a communist and I will dunk on broke libertarians.
>>1665White collar jobs don't pay as good as you think
Same for pink collar.
>>1686This is unfortunately how most "redpilled" people are. Self absorbed people
>>1691>But I blew it, for reasons that are my fault.what did you do? embezzled the company? CC'd your competititon? committed public acts of indecency due to dangerous bourgeoisie proclivities? did you bring a prostitute to your office
>>1692I lost my job because my company got bought out by PE. But my fault is that I didn't apply for another one, because I'm from a petit bourg family with rental property and a small business so I don't really need to work. I can still get a job, I'm just lazy and enjoy the NEET life. I'm the classic failson. I no longer get any respect from family and friends but at least I don't need to get up at 8 AM to do nothing in front of a PC. When the revolution happens I'll contribute to it, until then I'm just going to remain a petit bourg parasite.
>>1693You should just brag about having that lifestyle because it's than what the vast majority of the world lives with. Make a bunch of wagies seethe.
>>1694 Its a comfy life but not truly a fulfilling one. Im friendless and sexless because no woman or man respects a NEET. I would not recommend this life to anyone. There's a real reason why even billionaires go out to work and attend meetings and read reports and shit, when they don't need to do anything at all.
>>1696I guess to me I don't care because I work and still am sexless and friendless. At least when I neeted I wasn't working but yea it's not ideal. I guess life feels empty either way to me so if I'm going to feel this way I might as well not be working. Although I do kind of like working and I do sort of like my job and maybe if I could connect with people better I might enjoy life more than I do now. But I'm not really looking to change any of this.
>>1693People like you are why capitalism needs to be overhtrown
>>1694lol neets can't save up more than a thousand dollars at a time in the US SSI program. That sounds awful to be frank.
>>1699Maybe I'm talking more about someone that works for a bit and saves money through living with parents. By working for a bit you could hopefully keep your parents off your back for a bit and then you work for a bit and then neet for a bit. I suppose there are ways you could hide money when on ssi so you could have more than a thousand dollars. This system incentives cheating anyways.
>>1700Actually now that I think about it more it's not just our current system but maybe the world in general really gives incentives to cheat and be underhanded.
>>1700I have been living on my own for almost 2 years in a tiny apartment. The only way I could afford this place was because I had a good job at the time. I nearly lost everything when I lost my job. Fortunately my father has his pension from the factory job, or I would never have been able to keep this place.
Computers are stupid and H1B ruined any chance I had in the industry anyway. I'm going to become a CNA working with elderly folk and the mentally ill. At least I would be making a difference despite being overworked and underappreciated. There is a shortage of male CNAs and nurses. My nurse friend is going to be a huge help to me. He knows I can do it.
Point here being that there is no shame in getting help if it is available. Not all neets are parasites, I'm thinking of the ones that point the finger and go HURR WAGIE WAGIE who will all die bitter and unloved. There is no shame in staying with your parents or on public aid. But remember anons, you really shouldn't celebrate the neet life. Don't get sent to the lithium mines, start learning NOW.
Sorry but its the truth. Now if you will excuse me, I'm going to go snuggle my boyfriend and cook him breakfast.
