Bad news: The bourgeoisie are already doing it through "incentive structures"
>>2274973Come on anon, get a goddamn grip of yourself. I don't agree with his takes regarding social issues like gay and trans rights; but he still has a fascinating, relevant, and plausible enough vision of a post-capitalist society that I'm willing to listen to him and ask what he thinks about that.
And that's what's most relevant to me since my ultimate goal that I see as emancipatory for all minorities, the LGBTQ+ community included, is the transition of society into a socialist mode of production that brings about communism.

i'm some freak homogay furry with a lot of trans friends but the issue is picking your battles where they are most important.
I don't think cockshott is going to advocate splitting a movement over this shit and he's not going to rat LGBTQ+ to the cops, so it's worth listening.
>>2274227He organized people against Thatcher's poll tax (people refused to pay and the policy was abandoned) together with some other guy who had been to prison just for financing* a lefty party.
*through robberies
>>2275294So much criticism you can aim at some academic grifter just trying to sell his books on mangling marxism and you guys choose to focus on his (admittedly idiotic) personal opinions on queer people?
>>2275306>splitting a movementCockshott is not part of any movement, lol.
>>2275146they will have materialist philosophy classes and marxist political theory.
But STEM is the core. Marx would agree as Marx would hold Newton and Darwin higher than any 'philosophr'

>https://archive.ph/rWKhm>Paul Cockshott: An Intellectual for Imbeciles>Premise 1: Trans people are overwhelmingly workers (exploited above the average rate, which will be discussed later)>Premise 2: Communists fight for the workers>Conclusion: Communists fight with/for trans people(We could attach all sorts of conditions to the conclusion, such as not being an informant, but these would be conditions applicable to anyone.)
>Nowhere in this argument does a need arise for philosophizing about sex or gender. >Cockshott is unwilling to turn class analysis inwards, that is, examine how is own labor aristocratic nature as a first world academic limits his outlook and permeates his writing with all manner of petty-bourgeois prejudices.>There is a great deal of overlap in the US between the anti-LGBT “communists” and the anti-BLM and anti-immigrant “communists”. >Nobody is questioning anti-pedophilia laws that would encompass “priests buggering novices”, but Paul seems to be implying a link between homosexuality and pedophilia that has zero supporting evidence and is in fact believed solely by the most rabid bourgeois spokespeople.>Paul is also totally hypocritical in his argument by association, as “gender critical” feminists frequently cavort with open fascists and do not hesitate to take lucrative professorships or government funds. In fact, Paul positively refers to an AIDS denier in [Lobby], reasonably making him a quack by association! It's links to google doc:
https://archive.ph/60WtJ> Cockshott, like any rogue intellectual, is forced to dance around the facts and resort to metaphor and various non-arguments. I will take him point by point, in the works I could find references to LGBT people. This Google Doc [Sourced as Google doc]It's from mr cock himself as he discovers what pink capitalism is and the memes of it when he was kicked out of a ML facebook group
>>2276262Wait, you're telling me that Paul Cockshott isn't from North Korea? This changes everything, my god…..
What will I do with the theory of Cyberjuche now?
>>2276285Cyberjuche already exists. Do you think the guys pushing the trains
aren't cyborgs?
