Can the American-led NATO empire actually achieve it's long term goal of "Prompt Global Strike" or is this pure DoD fantasy copium huffing?

For those unfamiliar with the concept of "Prompt Global Strike" read picture related from books related.

TL;DR Prompt Global Strike is an open secret burger reich goal to be able to strike any target "within meters" on earth using not-quite-nuclear conventional weapons (think of the MOAB dropped on Afghanistan during the final years of US occupation)

Nah. They got evicted out of Afghanistan, and now can't strike huge swathes of territories even if they had the technology, simply because of physical distance. And then we had Houthis humiliate USA by striking their untouchable aircraft carrier, without any repercussions
