What's happening now
• Iran retaliation underway: Iran has launched more than 100 drones toward Israeli territory, Israel’s military said. The attack comes after Israel launched unprecedented strikes on Iran, targeting its nuclear program and senior military leaders in an attack that Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said will last many days. The attack plunges the Middle East into fresh uncertainty, increasing the risk of a regional war.
• Military leaders killed: General Hossein Salami, the commander-in-chief of Iran’s Islamic Revolutionary Guard, was killed in the attack. He was among the country’s most powerful figures. The attack also killed Major General Mohammad Bagheri, Iran’s highest-ranking military officer.
• Nuclear targets: Netanyahu said “Operation Rising Lion” struck Iran’s main enrichment facility in Natanz, nuclear scientists, and what he called “the heart of Iran’s ballistic missiles program.”
• US position: Secretary of State Marco Rubio said there was no US involvement or assistance in the strikes. President Donald Trump was convening a Cabinet-level meeting as Israel attacked, a White House official and two sources told CNN. The meeting was expected to focus on the US response.

Extreme rational in carrying out their settler genocidal plans.
I only wish Palestinians were a quarter as rational as Israelis and not emotional idiots most of the times.
>>2318820It's stupid, because it makes him look worse. Deceitful and untrustworthy, instead of a sympathetic victim of Netanyahu undermining his own negotiations.
>>2318839Ukraine took the L for weeks before they began to recover (even if they pissed away all their gains in 2022 instead of compromising).
It appears the only site which suffered minor penetration was Natanz, which is the shallowest site afaik. If they failed to destroy it, they're not going to be able to destroy the ones located dozens of meters underground, or deep within mountains underneath hundreds of meters of rock.
They failed to take out the full chain of command too. Which is a problem if this operation took years of planning, and everyone is dispersed now.
Iran isn't Lebanon, it's over 150x bigger. And there's a much smaller percentage of the population willing to rat out the leadership for sectarian reasons.
>>2318922I do think there's an "ideological" component too, not in the sense that "da j00s control America", but in that Washington has always gone all in for their reactionary racist puppet (settler colonial) ethnostates. What happened in south east Asia and Korea was way more vile than what burgerreich has been doing in the Middle East for the past 40 years.
They're a sockpuppet, and also represent the ideal of what burger christofashoids want America to be. A shamelessly racist, expansionist, sadistic, genocidal settler-colonial state under One Faith, with the President (like Netanyahu) above the law, courts and legislature, able to rule by degree.
It's like expecting the Nazis to repudiate ᴉuᴉlossnW or Antonescu why the hell would they?
>>2318980Many jews gave their lives to protect the USSR from the Nazi invaders and liberate Europe from the fascist occupation. Many also continue to oppose zionism while HUWITE evangelicals are soyfacing over dead brown people.

>>2318922>America needs MENA oil to surviveYet I can say Qatar has slavery, that Saudis are genocidal, that we should cut ties with them and sell them no arms then get no punishment
It is even a popular position amongst the USA media class to shit all over Saudi Arabia lol.
>>2318996>>2319000>Yet I can say Qatar has slavery, that Saudis are genocidal, that we should cut ties with them and sell them no arms then get no punishment Because they gulf baron states are corrupt shitholes that will look the other way to what Israel does in exchange for huge sacks of cash.
They are not a threat. Iran is a threat.
>>2318848>>2318928>>2318996u sound like a chicken hawk. why would the clerical regime with comfortable lives in iran care if some nobodies on an imageboard are upset they wont throw away their lives for a couple million non-persians
>>2318289>What is even the point of creating a repressive conservative theocratic state with one party rulethe government has a religious face but persians are mostly liberal/secular especially in the urban regions. iran is nothing like afghanistan or yemen.
>>2318769>in the 50 years zionists have existed, the cucked pseudo ottomans have never, ever done anything meaningful for Palestine.ottomans were nothing more than murderous slave traders
>>2319141Ah yes, an "extension" that works in complete detriment to actual american interests even from an imperialist pov
An "extension" that directly violates the first amendment of american citizens with full support of its crooked politicians
An "extension" that demands its "overlord" politicians complete obedience through qhat can only be described as a foreign occupational lobby (AIPAC)
>>2319141Isn't it funny how no one """extension"" of america such Taiwan, RoK, etc… share such privileges?
You're literally legally forbidden from criticizing zionism in the us
