>The question isn't who should we vote for but the actual questioning of the system's legitimacy to represent the will of the workers.
We should be doing both. You use the current system' resources as far as it goes but should be prepared to jump ship when it reaches it's limits. Lenin used the provisional government until it could no longer carry the revolution's weight and then he jumped off. Making it either/or is autistic nonsense.

>>2357449
> If he can force the business interests of this city to compromise with him we could see a marked improvement in the cost of living in this city.
there is no compromise at all. inflation will continue to rape the workers as the petty-bourgeois gets free gibs

>>2357432
The only conversation you should have with the DSSA should be when you're extracting their confession before you shoot them.

>>2357433

Adolf Hitler also had critiques of capitalism

>>2357449
>purity politics
My brother in christ you are supporting a "social" Democrat in the wake of every prior social Democrat bending a knee to the bourgeois system going as far as to support genocide. Wake up, you are being fooled again, and again.
>>2357450
>You use the current system' resources as far as it goes but should be prepared to jump ship when it reaches it's limits.
This is not at all what is happening. Nothing of the sort can happen when the DSA is in lock step with the democrats. This "jumping ship" doesn't work when the democrats have a net under the DSA.

Pathetic concern trolling lol

>>2357450
> Lenin used the provisional government until it could no longer carry the revolution's weight
utterly wrong. bolsheviks opposed the provision government from its inception. no bolshevik was ever in the provision government. dual power is bourgeois delusion. the communist overthrow the dictatorship not "use" it

>>2357459
>Black Leaders
Funny joke. The only “leaders” of the “black community” (or rather what’s left of it) are either self appointed fools or capitalist appointed puppets.

>>2357459
Calling it right now: the going strategy is gonna be trying to cast Eric Adams as some “esteemed black community leader” and Zohran as his racist Trump-like opposition. My bingo card is gonna be:
>ads that artificially lighten Zohran’s skin
>claiming his rap career was cultural appropriation
>black activists coming out of the woodwork to demand reparations for slavery
>lots of “Arabs were the biggest slave traders” rhetoric
>black celebrities throughout NYC talking about how Zohran’s policies “hurt the black community”
>nebulous claims of hate crimes perpetrated by “Zohran supporters”
>some hashtag like #ZohranSoWhite trending

By the end they’re gonna make him look like one of the Vampires in Sinners.

>>2357459
>Ruling class and politicos commit social murder
>Is shocked when there isn't enough workers and voters to do stuff

>>2357465
Stop giving them ideas bro.

>>2357457
So what have you been doing to improve conditions of the working class beyond just posting in here? Because all your critiques are seemingly hallow. You have no alternative to join or organize into, you are offering nothing. Communists are positivists not whatever you are doing.

>>2357465
>>lots of “Arabs were the biggest slave traders” rhetoric
he isn't arab

I cant believe it they're transin our sharia

>>2357459
First there is an eulogy of the black voter, who is a backbone of the dem electoral machine, then throws some champagne socialist accusation
>In a city whose politics have been defined by race-based math, Mr. Mamdani’s success as a democratic socialist upended these traditional calculations and birthed a new and unconventional coalition. It also highlighted tensions between older and more moderate Black voters and the party’s most strident progressive wing, typically anchored by wealthier white voters.
And ends with a call to "the left should organize the black petitbourg"

>>2357467
Nah, they’ve got soulless marketing suits with way more experience in the Dark Arts than me. I’m still leaving room to be surprised—maybe an ad where they go on about Zohran being a “colonizer” using a poorly remixed version of “Not Like Us” and the actor they got playing him is so white he glows in the sun.

>>2357470
Many Americans are still convinced Muslim = Arab and they’ll likely work close with AIPAC, who I imagine won’t be able to resist to throw in some anti-Arab stuff.

>>2357465
Total cultural war inversion. I love it, I love this country. I love who we are and our history and our people. The highway of humanity, here you can be a black Zionist or a black Nazis any color is welcomed or unwelcomed as needed. You were born here, no you weren’t. This land is my land but isn’t yours…

Stalin WAS a Social democrat

>>2357459
i mean, its pointing out the contradiction of zohran's policies targeting cost of living being better for black ppl in nyc, while black leaders dont like him
unless i got it wrong
its the nyt after all

>>2357478
>zohran's policies targeting cost of living
all of his policies depress labor power and improve the bourgeois standard of living

>>2357459
>>2357478
This is an all time banger NYT headline, what's it supposedly trying to convey is that black leaders are worried the rising cost of living are pushing black people away from NYC which naturally makes their influence wane, And that Zohran Mamdani has centered the issue of rising cost of living in his campaign. So it's actually two unrelated ideas that at shoved together on the same headline to make the inattentive reader think that "black leaders" are somehow at odds with Zohran despite being on the exact same side

>>2357481
How does free childcare reduce labor power?

>>2357481
What does this even fucking mean lol are you a tourist? Especially when that tor name?

Funny thing is if Zohran wins the general election it'll be solely because its fptp, if it was rcv the moderates would rank eachother and win

>>2357484
Let us assume that in a given industrial area it has become the rule that each worker has access to free childcare. In this case the working class of that area is freed from childcare expenses; expenses for childcare no longer enter into the value of its labor power. Every reduction in the cost of production of labor power, that is to say, every permanent price reduction in the worker’s necessities of life is equivalent, in accordance to the law of value, to a reduction in the value of labor power and will therefore finally result in a corresponding fall in wages. Wages would fall on an average corresponding to the average sum saved on childcare, that is, the worker would pay for childcare, but not, as formerly, in money to the childcare provider, but in unpaid labor to the factory owner for whom he works. In this way the provision of free childcare would certainly become capital to some extent, but not capital for him, but for the capitalist employing him.

>>2357459
Same idiots that think Jim Clyburn’s endorsement is meaningful in New York.

>>2357489
Therefore the proletariat is impoverished more greatly as the bourgeoisie receives free childcare

>>2357490
I mean it is. Clyburn got the black community(low income) to vote for Adams and Cuomo and Cuomo again this time. Clyburn will throw his endorsement behind Adams once more.

>>2357498
Every public service should be privatized because the bourgeoisie also benefit from it

>>2357489
Basically this. For example shortening the working day from 12+ hours to 10 hours made it so the capitalist and bourgeois could exploit the working class even more. It was the bourgeoisie that fought to shorten working days harder than any communist organization. In fact the 20th century with it's regulations and red tape make it so the working class is even more exploited and worth much less as opposed to the 19th century when the working class actually had a real stake to take power. The welfare state is counter intuitive to socialism. As you abolish the welfare state the closer the working class are to taking power by sheer labor power value.

>>2357465
>the going strategy is gonna be trying to cast Eric Adams as some “esteemed black community leader”
Eric Adams does have a comedy factor going for him

>>2357504
I guarantee you if you polled Black New Yorkers on if they didn’t vote for Zohran because Jim Clyburn, a majority would not give af. He’s a non-entity outside of the south.

>>2357505
The childcare will remain capitalist. Zohran will pay the childcare capitalists premium

>>2357517
State capitalism is objectively progressive compared to market anarchy and feudal familial childcare

>>2357514
Black voters only vote who they are told to vote for or if they have name brand recognition, that's it.

>>2357465
He is of punjabi descent, not Arab

>>2357544
*Gujarati Muslim

>>2357537
>lowering wages and giving 500% subsidies to BlackRock daycares is dictatorship of the proletariat
Wrong. That is monopoly state capitalism, not state capitalism.

>>2357475
>had literal worksheets assigned where you had to “self-report your privilege”
>meetings with progressive stacks so I’d be the last with a chance to speak
>fucking land acknowledgments
>All of this because it was so important to appeal to the most oppressed, radical, and hardest working people
<the right just shrieks slurs and now we’ve got black Nazis and we’re told affordable housing is racist.

>>2357550
Monopoly state capitalism is the first step toward communism, critiques of blackrock are petit bourgeois and reactionary in nature, we need monopolies to be as huge and centralized as possible so when they are nationalized the capitalist class is unable to do capital flight or capital destruction

>>2357550
Wages are money, money is a form a capital, arguing for raising wages is an argument for turning workers into capitalists

>>2357556
Monopoly state capitalism is dominant mode of production of imperialist countries for over century. State capitalism is transitional phase of dictatorship of the proletariat. You are a social fascist.
>>2357558
Wages are necessary articles of consumption, not capital

>>2357558
That's not a useful analysis.

>>2357465
eric adams is too disgraced for even an attempt at spinning tho
even the democratic party leadership of all ppl managed to get sick of his shit

>>2357574
Adams attacked Biden and started supporting Trump by the end. Democrats would deal with his shit if he at least pretended to be a party loyalist but he's too stupid to do even that.

>>2357394
>one little old mayor gets elected… everyone loses their minds!

>>2357508
God, I hope he pulls a move like this in the debates

>>2357454
does zohran mamdani make you feel unsafe felix?

>>2357508
i really fear this is gonna work, the black community is very tribal

>>2357673
i just realised this sounds racist uhhh i mean to say a lot of black people will vote for someone just bc they're black and there are a lot of black reactionaries amongst the dems because republicans are racist so you can't really vote for republicans

>>2357673
nah they'll end up voting for Mamdani because of the (D) next to his name, Adams stands no chance running as independent unless Sliwa drops out and endorses him
