>>2438622>>2440205In Capitalist society, yes.
In a socialist society, no, it's unnecessary.
Stop asking the same question every thread and make your own.
>>2440205>>2440209Every such "confusing" issue is only confusing because you're too much of a lib to conceive of the complete dismantling of the united states as an entity
that's the "reparations"
>>2440205Yes, but only under communism.
I don’t think capitalism can make it happen
>>2440226>>2440236neoliberal retards have said for years "why do you hate the global poor" to everyone who opposes their free trade policy, whether succdems or protectionists, because they labor under the delusion that neoliberal free trade "rapidly develops" global south economies and that "a rising tide lifts all boats" and therefore "everyone who opposes these policies hates the global poor"
This is kinda embarassing to say but I used to argue with people on r/neoliberal before realizing it was literally a subreddit created by a think tank and full of bots, and that was one of the most common stock phrases they would deploy: "Why do you hate the global poor?"
>>2440247I'm saying that the libs calling for reparations don't aren't actually calling for civil war/revolution, they're calling for a fantasy set of reforms where bourgeois law will mandate that "whites" (or descendants of slave owners nobody really knows) will pay "blacks" (or descendants of slaves nobody really knows) X amount of money over some undefined period until they reach whatever X trillions of dollars is determined to be "reparations"
It is almost always talked about in these reformist terms. Which is why it's called "reparations" and not "revolution."
>>2440205I strongly support such a proposition. In fact, I advocate to impose that on the American government as a form of international sanction to be enshrined as an entrenched clause in the US constitution, a kind of Corwin amendment but in reverse, forbidding them from giving any kind of financial and military aid to other rogue criminal states such a IsraHell, Egypt, Saudi Arabia and so on. All that money could serve as a basis for a decades-long reparations scheme payable to all descendants of slaves. In fact, that amount of money alone could allow anyone to get a high-level education, retire from work early, clear up debt, move abroad far from that shithole - on condition they don't have a sexpat/digital nomad effect on countries they move to - or whatever else they want to do with the money - for example simping for qt femboys on onlyfaps or other similar websites, which in the meantime would have been forced to apply a credible and effective system of age verifications for "creators" and would have removed their pimp owners, transitioning to a cooperative form of ownership among all the "creators".
That would be a net positive for the entire world: victims of past wrongs and current discriminations now restored and a huge source of financing for parasitical and loathsome entities abroad completely removed.

You just have to defeat them and make sure they never come back.
> All that money could serve as a basis for a decades-long reparations scheme payable to all descendants of slaves. How is this bureaucratically determinable? What if you're descended from both slaves and slave owners, as many doubtlessly are because slavery was an institution of mass rape? What "ratio" of "white" to "black" must you be in order to be "entitled" to "reparataions?" Nobody is able to answer this question, they just get angry when it is asked and accuse the person asking of it of liberalism and so forth. But it would undoubtedly be a bureaucratic nightmare. The funny thing is nobody calls for "proletarian reparations" . Like nobody says "under socialism the descendants of bourgeoisie will pay the descendants of proles X amount of money for Y amount of years" because it's understood that the entire point of getting rid of class is to get rid of class, not to treat the now-proletarianized descendants of former bourgeoisie as if they were still bourgeois, which recreates the entire tension of class society. Nobody calls for "serf" reparations either. It's a bureaucratic nightmare and it doesn't make any sense because it doesn't actually "repair" anything. It just rewards the descendants of victims and punishes the descendants of criminals. keyword descendants. The people who actually "deserve" the punishment/reward (it's a moralist framework after all) are long dead.
To put it simply: Does a proletarianized descendant of a slave owner living in a trailer park have to pay, for example, a black bourgeois billionaire like Oprah Winfrey, reparations?
>In fact, that amount of money alone could allow anyone to get a high-level education, retire from work early, clear up debt, move abroad far from that shitholewhat if the "amount of money" required for reparations doesn't actually exist? Do you just print it? Well that causes inflation making the "reparations" worthless. There's another bureaucratic nightmare.
That's why all these bourgeois legal reforms aimed at "repairing" the "past injustices" of class society are no substitute for just getting rid of class society and moving forward without looking back.
>on condition they don't have a sexpat/digital nomad effect on countries they move to another bureaucratic nightmare
>That would be a net positive for the entire world: victims of past wrongs and current discriminations now restored and a huge source of financing for parasitical and loathsome entities abroad completely removed. So do you just kill the bad evil people and take whatever shit they didn't burn when you were storming their gates or do you keep the bad people alive and make them pay X amount of reparations for Y amount of years through a program of skimming off their labor?

Most Americans believe it is time for the world to recognize Palestinian statehood, according to new polling.
In the latest Reuters/Ipsos survey, 58% of respondents said that all countries in the United Nations should recognize the state of Palestine. Meanwhile, 33% said they disagreed and 9% did not provide an answer.
The survey appears to mark a shift in U.S. public opinion, with an increasing number of Americans favoring recognition of Palestinian statehood. By comparison, in a May 2023 YouGov poll, just 37% of respondents said the U.S. government should formally acknowledge the state of Palestine. A plurality of respondents were uncertain.
The Reuters/Ipsos poll — which has a margin of error of about 2 percentage points — also found that most Americans, 59%, believe Israel’s military actions in Gaza have been excessive. About one-third of respondents said they disagreed. Additionally, 65% said that the U.S. should “take action in Gaza to help people facing starvation.” Twenty-eight percent said they disagreed, including 41% of Republicans.
https://www.miamiherald.com/news/nation-world/national/article311772894.htmlWASHINGTON (AP) — President Donald Trump on Wednesday called on Federal Reserve governor Lisa Cook to resign after a member of his administration accused Cook of committing mortgage fraud, the latest example of the Trump administration’s efforts to gain control over the central bank.
Bill Pulte, director of the agency that oversees mortgage giants Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac, urged the Justice Department to investigate Cook, who was appointed to the Fed’s governing board by former president Joe Biden in 2022. She was reappointed the following year to a term that lasts until 2038, the longest remaining term among the seven governors.

Collier was among dozens of Democrats who left the state for the Democratic havens of California, Illinois, Massachusetts and New York to delay the Republican-controlled Legislature’s approval of redrawn congressional districts sought by President Donald Trump. When they returned Monday, Republicans insisted that Democrats have around-the-clock police escorts to ensure they wouldn’t leave again and scuttle Wednesday’s planned House vote on a new political map.
But Collier wouldn’t sign what Democrats called the “permission slip” needed to leave the House chamber, a half-page form allowing Department of Public Safety troopers to follow them. She spent Monday night and Tuesday on the House floor, where she set up a livestream while her Democratic colleagues outside had plainclothes officers following them to their offices and homes.
Dallas-area Rep. Linda Garcia said she drove three hours home from Austin with an officer following her. When she went grocery shopping, he went down every aisle with her, pretending to shop, she said. As she spoke to The Associated Press by phone, two unmarked cars with officers inside were parked outside her home.

The mayor, who is just months away from facing voters in his bid for a second term leading New York City, is not expected to be charged. But the defendants, according to the people with knowledge of the matter, are expected to include his closest political ally and former chief adviser, Ingrid Lewis-Martin, and her son, both of whom are already facing corruption charges handed up late last year.
Also expected to face charges are the mayor’s friend Jesse Hamilton, a former state senator whom Mr. Adams installed in a powerful city job, and two influential supporters, Gina and Tony Argento, siblings who run a prominent soundstage company and who, with their employees, have donated more than $20,000 to Mr. Adams’s mayoral campaigns.

The Mar-a-Lago Accord is the framework guiding the Trump administration's second term trade and currency agenda. Developed by key advisers Stephen Miran and Scott Bessent, the accord aims to reduce U.S. trade deficits by addressing what it views as structural imbalances in the global economy, particularly the overvaluation of the dollar. It combines broad tariffs, potential currency interventions, and a rethinking of international economic relationships, including proposals to link trade access with national security cooperation.
Stephen Miran
edit
Stephen Miran, chair of the Council of Economic Advisers, is a central figure behind the Mar-a-Lago Accord and a leading advocate for transforming the global economic framework. He argues that the core imbalance in international trade stems from the consistent overvaluation of the U.S. dollar, driven by foreign demand for dollar-denominated reserve assets such as Treasury bonds. This overvaluation, he claims, suppresses exports, encourages imports, and has severely weakened the United States manufacturing base.[16][15]
Miran outlines a strategy built on several key principles:
Tariffs as strategic tools. He supports tariffs not only to protect domestic industry but also to raise revenue, shift burdens onto foreign producers, and serve as leverage in international negotiations.
Currency offset theory. He argues that tariffs do not necessarily lead to inflation at home if the dollar strengthens in response. A stronger dollar can reduce the price of imported goods, offsetting the cost of tariffs, and lowering the real income of foreign exporters.
A new international currency agreement. Miran proposes a modern equivalent of the 1985 Plaza Accord, which he refers to as the Mar-a-Lago Accord. The goal would be coordinated currency appreciation among U.S. trading partners to address the dollar's overvaluation.
Unilateral options if diplomacy fails. If a multilateral agreement is not possible, Miran advocates for using legal and financial tools such as capital restrictions, targeted taxes, or financial regulation under existing laws like the International Emergency Economic Powers Act.
Burden sharing within the reserve currency system. Miran reframes the traditional Triffin dilemma, arguing that while the world relies on the United States to supply dollar reserves, the costs of doing so have fallen disproportionately on U.S. industry. His framework calls for redistributing those costs through strategic trade and monetary policy.
Trade and security alignment. Miran supports linking economic partnerships to defense cooperation. He argues that countries benefiting from U.S. security guarantees should align their economic practices with American strategic interests.
Industrial revival and deregulation. A key part of his strategy is to rebuild industrial strength in sectors critical to national power, including energy, defense, semiconductors, and advanced manufacturing. He also calls for regulatory reform to help domestic firms compete more effectively in a strong dollar environment.
Scott Bessent, Treasury Secretary under Donald Trump and founder of Key Square Group, focuses on integrating trade and security policy to address what he sees as structural imbalances in the global economy. He argues that globalization has failed to deliver on its promises and that the United States must take a more active role in reshaping the international economic order.[17][18]
Bessent supports:
Linking trade access to security cooperation, where allies commit to defense spending and economic reforms in exchange for access to the U.S. market
Broad tariffs applied at the macro level, to correct global imbalances caused by foreign industrial policy and suppressed consumption
A segmented global economy, where countries closer to U.S. strategic interests receive more favorable economic treatment
Reducing U.S. budget deficits, to lessen the domestic contribution to global imbalances
Long-term negotiation and forward guidance, to manage market expectations and strengthen U.S. leverage
https://en.m.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Mar-a-Lago_Accord&wprov=rarw1Andrew Cuomo’s counting on President Donald Trump and top Republicans to tell the party faithful to vote for Cuomo for mayor if they want to stop Zohran Mamdani, and not to vote for GOP nominee Curtis Sliwa.
“We can minimize (the Sliwa) vote, because he’ll never be a serious candidate,” Cuomo told the crowd at a Hamptons fundraiser Saturday, according to audio obtained by Playbook. “And Trump himself, as well as top Republicans, will say the goal is to stop Mamdani. And you’ll be wasting your vote on Sliwa. So I feel good about that.”
Publicly, Cuomo has shunned the idea of getting any help from Trump. Cuomo said he’d decline an endorsement, and denied a New York Times report that he’d spoken with the president about the race.
But Cuomo seemed hopeful for the president’s help behind closed doors, speaking to the more Trump-friendly crowd gathered at media mogul Jimmy Finkelstein’s home in Southampton. Another co-host, former New York City Council President Andrew Stein, briefed Trump last month on how Cuomo would be competitive in the general election, according to the Times.
An attendee asked Cuomo directly if he or his team was in conversation with the White House about how Trump might influence the race. Cuomo didn’t directly deny it this time.
“Let’s put it this way: I knew the president very well,” Cuomo said. “I believe there’s a big piece of him that actually wants redemption in New York. He feels that he was rejected by New York. We voted for Hillary Clinton. Bill de Blasio took his name off things. So I believe there will be opportunities to actually cooperate with him. I also believe that he’s not going to want to fight with me in New York if he can avoid it.”
Sliwa doesn’t think Trump would nudge the GOP to Cuomo, saying the party can’t get over Cuomo signing the law letting more people out on bail pre-trial and him “smacking fannies and killing grannies.”
“Why don’t we have a debate? And see how many Republicans go with Cuomo,” Sliwa said. “In the streets we have a word for that: a fugazi, a fake.”
Cuomo spokesperson Rich Azzopardi downplayed Cuomo’s comments as “speculating” about a “hypothetical.”
“We’re not asking for or expecting help from anyone,” he said. “Governor Cuomo is the only chance to beat Mamdani and ensure the greatest city in the world stays the greatest city in the world.”
Cuomo is planning “to rig the election” Mamdani campaign spokesperson Dora Pekec said in a statement. “Since he’s too afraid to say it to New Yorkers’ faces, we’ll make it clear: Andrew Cuomo IS Donald Trump’s choice for mayor.”
Cuomo also talked about getting Mayor Eric Adams out of the race, so the anti-Mamdani vote isn’t split among them. A Gotham Polling survey for AARP this month showed Mamdani leading with 42 percent in the general, but his top four opponents collectively got 50 percent.
Adams “won’t allow himself” to be “a spoiler,” Cuomo said at the fundraiser. “If that happened, he’d have to move to Florida afterwards” because Adams would be “responsible for Mamdani winning. And he believes Mamdani would be horrendous for the city, and we’ve had that conversation.”
That didn’t sit well with Adams, who eviscerated Cuomo in a statement as “an embarrassing double-digit loser who couldn’t beat a socialist, and his failure created this entire scenario.”
“He should stop lecturing others, drop out of the spotlight, and maybe start by giving his daughter back her apartment,” Adams added. — Jeff Coltin
https://www.politico.com/newsletters/new-york-playbook/2025/08/19/cuomos-seeking-a-trump-bump-00513909Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth’s security requirements are so extensive that it is placing a strain on the U.S. Army’s Criminal Investigation Division, according to a report.
The Washington Post reports that the CID, which is responsible for protecting top Pentagon officials as well as serving as the Army’s law enforcment arm, has been forced to draft agents who would otherwise be investigating criminal offenses concerning members of the Armed Forces to help watch over Hegseth’s family and their properties in D.C., Minnesota and Tennessee.
“I’ve never seen this many security teams for one guy,” one official told the newspaper. “Nobody has.”
One CID official quoted by the Post expressed their frustration with the situation by saying agents were being prevented from “doing what we are supposed to be doing” in order to “sit on luggage” or “sit in the cars on the driveway.”
Others complained of having to shepherd the secretary’s children to school or patrol the perimeter of his properties.
“It is literally taking away from [CID’s] law enforcement mission,” they said. “You are taking hundreds of people out of the field to provide this level of protection.
Another is the complexity of Hegseth’s blended family, which includes one child from his marriage to Jennifer Hegseth as well as three from her previous marriage and another three from his.

“We are not going to let the communists destroy a great American city, let alone the nation’s capital,” Miller told the crowd near Shake Shack inside Union Station. “And let’s just also address another thing. All these demonstrators you’ve seen out here in recent days, all these elderly white hippies, they’re not part of the city and never have been. And by the way, most of the citizens who live in Washington, D.C., are Black.”
“So we’re going to ignore these stupid white hippies that all need to go home and take a nap because they’re all over 90 years old,” he added. “And we’re going to get back to the business of protecting the American people and the citizens of Washington, D.C.”

One of them is just kinda recognizing that even if we're not gonna make it, as a species, there's billions of galaxies out there where maybe on one of those solar systems, on one of those planets, they'll figure out the whole communism thing. In the grand scheme of things we're only important to ourselves, for ourselves.
The other thing I try to keep in mind is that the "blackest reaction" as Stalin called it, is an unsustainable state of affairs. It will end eventually, even if a lot of us are caught in the crossfire or die fighting.
Shari Redstone hoped Trump’s ‘60 Minutes’ suit would root out anti-Israel bias at CBS News — and she sold Paramount partly over Oct. 7
Shari Redstone said she believed President Trump’s lawsuit against CBS News could help address the network’s anti-Israel bias — even as she revealed that it was the Oct. 7 terrorist attacks that finally moved her to sell CBS parent Paramount.
“We needed more balance,” Redstone, former chair of Paramount Global, told the New York Times in interviews conducted after Paramount’s $8 billion sale to Skydance Media closed earlier this month.
“Part of me thought, maybe Trump could accomplish what I never got done,” the entertainment heiress told the Times.
Redstone told the Times that for years she had resisted entreaties from potential suitors eager to buy Paramount. What pushed her to finally agree to sell the family business was the Oct. 7 massacre of an estimated 1,200 Israelis.
“Once that happened, I wanted out,” she told the Times.
“I wanted to support Israel, and address issues around antisemitism and racism.”
In her wide-ranging interview with the Times that was published on Tuesday, the 71-year-old media heiress, whose ex-husband and son are both rabbis, had grown increasingly frustrated with CBS News coverage that she viewed as hostile to Israel.
She told the Times that her breaking point came just days before she withdrew from settlement talks with Trump in January this year.
CBS aired a “60 Minutes” segment featuring State Department officials who quit over American support for Israel’s Gaza war — a piece the American Jewish Committee blasted as “shockingly one-sided, lacked factual accuracy, and relied heavily on misguided information.”
Days after the segment aired, George Cheeks, who oversees CBS, shared Redstone’s dismay about the Gaza episode and soon appointed veteran producer Susan Zirinsky as executive editor to review “60 Minutes” segments — stripping the show of its traditional independence from corporate interference.
Shari Redstone is an observant Jew.
She has expressed support for Israel, saying: "They're one of the few nations that really represent a democratic society."

A source familiar with the move confirmed to Scripps News that the destroyers include the USS Gravely, the USS Jason Dunham and the USS Sampson. The deployment will bring the U.S. military posture in the area to about 4,000 sailors and Marines.
According to Reuters, the broader region will also have several Boeing P-8 Poseidon spy planes, warships and at least one attack submarine. Secretary of State Marco Rubio was asked about the U.S. military going after drug traffickers late last week and said it's a goal President Donald Trump has made clear.
"There are designated narco-terrorist groups operating in the region, some of them utilizing international airspace, international waters, to transit poison into the United States," Rubio said. "And those groups will be confronted.

Gabbard to slash Director of National Intelligence staff by nearly 50%
It would be the biggest reform to the agency since it was created after 9/11.
Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard announced Wednesday that her office will cut nearly half its workforce and consolidate several intelligence centers as part of a sweeping restructuring initiative called “ODNI 2.0.”
https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/gabbard-slash-director-national-intelligence-staff-50/story?id=124819630WASHINGTON — Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem is pushing for Immigration and Customs Enforcement to use an influx of funds to buy, own and operate its own fleet of airplanes to deport immigrants, two sources familiar with the discussions told NBC News. Former officials said that ICE owning and maintaining its own planes would be costly but could make it easier for the agency to potentially double the number of people it deports each month.
ICE uses charter planes to deport immigrants and has done so for years. The agency has typically chartered eight to 14 planes at a time for deportation flights, according to Jason Houser, who served as ICE chief of staff from 2022 to 2023. He said that allowed the Biden administration to deport roughly 15,000 immigrants per month on charter flights.
“If the goal is to get to 30 to 35,000 removals a month, you would need to double the number of planes,” Houser said, or purchase roughly 30 planes.
With a guaranteed set of 30 or more planes, ICE wouldn’t be constrained by the limits of the companies it contracts with, which charter their planes to multiple clients.

“They've got the National Guard on the street. And now they just get to decide what is and isn't over the line. That should scare everybody. You're fucking nuts, dude. If this doesn't scare you, you're nuts.
All these things that Alex Jones was like worried about when I listened to him in the late '90s, early 2000s are coming to fruition. I know he's a a big fan of Trump, but like this is everything Alex Jones always talked about. Military in the street, the FEMA camp, the tech company that monitors everything, the surveillance. This is all of that.
This is literally the wet dream of every conspiracy theorist that has ever lived, and it's happening now."

>Christianity morphed into pagan mysticism + hellenic philosophy by that time and had not that much content with OG christianity.Consider what I said about the transition from slavery to serfdom. Christianity, regardless of whether it was "OG" or "modified" was merely a superstructural element of medieval European society. It did not define the base relations of production. It merely came about during a period of transition and its rise from obscure levantine jewish splinter sect to the state religion of the roman empire accompanied the rise of serfdom.

>>2440318>>2440324Look I've gone back and forth on this numerous times, but I think undoubtedly we need to start from the position that Black Americans need help, broadly, by a far greater degree than White Americans. There's been numerous roadblocks put up that've harmed their economic prospects. That said, I think a broad universal program that targets the poorest neighborhoods and counties in the U.S. would be a great start without stirring up enmity. Like I spent some time in rural Oregon and there were some tensions between the White and Native citizens because, among other things, Natives had access to a nearby health clinic that was (supposedly) well-funded and White Citizens had to leave town to get medical care. And as others have mentioned "who gets what from who" quickly dominates these topics.
Things like building nearby schools and hospitals, state run grocery stores, ending the war on drugs and pardoning those caught up in it, will all be easier to get done if being directed at the poorest Americans (a great number of whom are Black Americans). Though there may be room for race-targeted policies on hiring in order to ensure Black Americans aren't left behind. If Socialism means a flurry of new development and new employment, I think it's important that Black America plays a part in that. Think of it as a "second founding" or so where the country is rebuilt by free peoples, not those compelled by threats or force. That'd be a great form of propaganda I think, with the labors we'd engage in under Socialism being more than just physically restorative, but "spiritually" redemptive. Like grabbing gold from a muddy lake.

On July 17, the option went dead for LGBTQ+ youth to access specialized mental health support from the national 988 Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
The Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration said a month earlier that it would no longer “silo” services and would instead “focus on serving all help seekers.” That meant the elimination of the “Press 3” option, the dedicated line answered by staff specifically trained to handle LGBTQ+ youth facing mental health issues ranging from anxiety to thoughts of suicide.
Now, states such as California, Colorado, Illinois, and Nevada are scrambling to backfill LGBTQ+ crisis support through training, fees, and other initiatives in response to what advocates say is the Trump administration’s hostile stance toward this group. In his first day back in the White House, President Donald Trump issued an executive order recognizing only two sexes, male and female, and while campaigning, he condemned gender ideology as “toxic poison.” And the administration omitted “T” for transgender and “Q” for queer or questioning in announcing the elimination of the 988 Press 3 option.
“Since the election, we’ve seen a clear increase in young people feeling devalued, erased, uncertain about their future, and seeing resources taken away,” said Becca Nordeen, senior vice president of crisis intervention at The Trevor Project, a national suicide prevention and crisis intervention nonprofit for LGBTQ+ youth

Its one of the last things the actual needed right now. Now it’s just ticking away to its death. Economic mismanagement was already well underway before even Trump’s first time in office. Trump himself has proven to be fatally catastrophic.
And despite his dreams of an American fourth Reich, he already fucked up that opportunity. He was too loud, too obvious, and he has unwittingly painted himself as the problem instead of minority group or a political rival. On top of this, there’s already precedence, history, previous reference for what he’s trying to achieve. People already know whats up.
The Nazis crept in discretely bringing in a new idea that enough people foolishly bought into after experiencing economic woes caused by the previous government, giving them the power to put their boots down. WASHINGTON, Aug 20 (Reuters) - The United States has ordered an amphibious squadron to the southern Caribbean as part of President Donald Trump's effort to address threats from Latin American drug cartels, two sources briefed on the deployment said on Wednesday.
The sources, speaking on condition of anonymity, said that the USS San Antonio, USS Iowa Jima and USS Fort Lauderdale could arrive off the coast of Venezuela as early as Sunday. The ships are carrying 4,500 service members, including 2,200 Marines, the sources said.
https://www.reuters.com/world/us/us-orders-amphibious-squadron-deploy-southern-caribbean-sources-2025-08-20/>>2440884If you read the rest of my post you would have seen that I said that the odds of the Democrats not being a Controlled Opposition Party designed to either lose to Republicans or accomplish nothing when they occasionally win so they lose again quickly, combined with the odds of the 2028 Election being competitive and not totally fixed to guarantee a Republican victory or even happening at all, are slim to none, and the only real hope for the International Communist Movement (Marxism-Leninism-Maoism) is a Global Nuclear War allowing for a World Maoist PPW to create a Global USSR, so all I was saying is that it would “theoretically” be amazing if Newsom was so desperate to be President that he actually ran on a Social Democratic/Non-Interventionist platform, and I would have no problem voting for him if he did, along with the fact that I really like that he is trying to Gerrymander California in retaliation for the Texas Gerrymander (typically the Controlled Opposition Democrats would sit on their ass and do nothing while the Republicans run circles around them, so it is extremely refreshing to see a Democrat show a little backbone for once, ✊😜!), and that I think his Trump-style Twitter posts are quite funny (I am smart enough to know he is not actually writing them, but he is obviously still approving his press office posting them, so I still give him props for not taking the lame “we go high when they go low” strategy, 😂🤣✊😜!), ✊😜🇨🇳🇰🇵🇨🇺🇵🇸🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🚀☢️!

Also on an somewhat unrelated note, I'm surprised there’s not more discussion about Trump readying for the invasion of Venezuela.
>>2441239I dont doubt there's a more scientific way of wording it for sure, and I dont claim to be an expert, but those two trends in America at least seem to be dominant among the youth as opposed to more traditional worldviews. Mao once said "The communist ideological and social system alone is full of youth and vitality, sweeping the world with the momentum of an avalanche and the force of a thunderbolt." This may have been true in 1940 sure, but when we look around today we see that self proclaimed communist parties especially in the west are largely full of decrepit fossils and people who otherwise are more interested in looking upon past glories. It stands to reason though that Mao's observations on youth and vitality being essential in overcoming capitalism are still on point, to direct the future we need the youth. But what are the youth doing?
Broadly in America I see the Zoomers and Gen Alpha types being increasingly polarized into two camps which I mentioned earlier. One is simply motivated by their upholding of "empathy", vague as that may be as a concept, especially empathy for LGBTQ people which at this point are about a quarter of high school age children. Idpol in essence yes, but many of those people are also open to radicalization as it becomes increasingly clear that queer folks will never be treated as full human beings in our society and that any gains made under liberalism are temporary. Hence these people are falling into the umbrella of the "radical left" as it were and introduced to communism and anarchism as the best ways to secure their futures. They may not agree with all of it or even be very knowledgeable about theory at all, but they DO understand on some level that a revolution is the only chance for "trans rights" to be something codified.
And on the other side of the spectrum, we have the natural endpoint of the "far right" taking its current form. Whether it's Atomwaffen, the various Terrogram networks, O9A spinoffs, and other such things, the one thing all these movements have in common is that they've taken "No Lives Matter" to be a holy creed. The days of neo-Nazis like Richard Spencer are long past, no longer are they bothering to hide behind dogwhistles and optics, instead favoring the open glorification of genocide and death. Unsurprisingly, a lot of people that get involved with these groups are teenagers, the guy behind Fueurkrieg Division for instance was literally a 13 year old running a terrorist network from his mom's house. These guys too are steadily getting more organized and falling under more traditional political labels, getting groomed by groups like Patriot Front and the Active Club networks into channeling their omnicidal nihilism towards "productive" means, but for many of them race is secondary as can be seen by the large amount of obviously brown Nazis these days. The actual tenants of fascism and National Socialism are unimportant, window dressing for a general crusade against life.
Again, if we are to follow the logic of youth and vitality of movements being the most likely to end the current mode of production and forge a new world, those are the two main currents we've got. Like it or not, communists are going to have to dip into the forbidden waters of "idpol" if again only to make the youth realize that whatever rainbow liberation or land acknowledgment shit or other high minded stuff is ONLY going to be possible under communism.
Am I crazy? Probably. Am I not talking scientifically? I'm almost certain, and if there's some better way to phrase what I'm talking about then I would happily defer to that. But these are just my observations looking at young people in America today.
>>2441243He has been out of the picture for awhile but one of the most influential homophobes. Also very pro-corporal punishment. He was a psychological who wrote about how it's good to beat your kids and that whipping out your dick in front of your son will help turn him straight.
>He came to public light in 1970 with his child raising manual, Dare to Discipline. This book made him the anti-Benjamin Spock. It was openly pro-corporal punishment. He claimed to oppose child abuse, but his guidelines on this was much more vague than it was on beating the crying kids. It was supposed to be about self-control and if anyone ever moved beyond that to the point that they enjoyed whacking the little brat then they shouldn’t be hitting their kids. But how can one even know this at the time?
>In a follow-up book The Strong-Willed Child, which also advocated beating the hell out of the brats, Dobson stated about how long the beating should go on, “Yes, I believe there should be a limit. As long as the tears represent a genuine release of emotion, they should be permitted to fall. But crying quickly changes from inner sobbing to an expression of protest … Real crying usually lasts two minutes or less but may continue for five. After that point, the child is merely complaining, and the change can be recognized in the tone and intensity of his voice. I would require him to stop the protest crying, usually by offering him a little more of whatever caused the original tears.” Ah yes, keep hitting the child until their will gives up. What can go wrong?
>And it wasn’t just kids that he urged hitting. It was also the family dog! What is it with right wingers and abusing dogs? He described his dachshund—named Sigmund Freud—not wanting to go into its enclosure. So he got the belt. Here’s the relevant passage in The Strong-Willed Child. “I had seen this defiant mood before and knew there was only one way to deal with it. The only way to make Siggie obey is to threaten him with destruction. Nothing else works. I turned and went to my closet and got a small belt to help me ‘reason’ with Mr. Freud….. “I hit him again and he tried to bite me . . . That tiny dog and I had the most vicious fight ever staged between man and beast. I fought him up one wall and down the other, with both of us scratching and clawing and growling and swinging the belt.”[1] This was an object lesson on how to raise both animals and children for James Dobson! No wonder he was so popular among evangelicals. His love of patriarchal violence fit their world vision seen as under threat by people who don’t…..beat dogs and children, not to mention think people should love who they want and have control over their own reproductive system.[…]
>And how to stop boys from becoming gay? Dobson believed that fathers should whip out their dick and show it to the boy so that they become real pussy-loving men! No, seriously, he specifically promoted this passage in a friend’s manuscript:
<Meanwhile, the boy’s father has to do his part. He needs to mirror and affirm his son’s maleness. He can play rough-and-tumble games with his son, in ways that are decidedly different from the games he would play with a little girl. He can help his son learn to throw and catch a ball. He can teach him to pound a square wooden peg into a square hole in a pegboard. He can even take his son with him into the shower, where the boy cannot help but notice that Dad has a penis, just like his, only bigger.https://www.lawyersgunsmoneyblog.com/2025/08/james-dobson-burn-in-hell >>2441336IMBECILE DO YOU KNOW THAT THE CENSORS AT TIKTOK IS HEADED BY IDF BITCH?????? >>2441365>picwhere to even begin with this reactionary nonsense. First of all, the property owning bourgeois patriarch is always seen as a "pillar of his community" but really he has servants everywhere, whether it's his wife, child, or maid, who make it possible for him to do whatever he does. Secondly, poverty and unemployment and drug addiction aren't merely (as in not only, not exclusively, not solely) failings of the individual, but also systemic problems with systemic solutions. And the bourgeois patriarch will not support those systemic solutions to poverty and addiction. In fact they rely on the existence of poverty and addiction to have a permanent strata of people they can see themselves as above. Stripping those people of their suffrage and equality is absolutely within the material interests of the bourgeois patriarch trad dad because otherwise he would lose his status which protects him from the people he exploits, who he sees as existing solely to serve Him and His Image as "pillar of the community."
I leave you with this passage:
>all classes and parties had united in the party of Order against the proletarian class as the party of anarchy, of socialism, of communism. They had “saved” society from “the enemies of society.” They had given out the watchwords of the old society, “property, family, religion, order,” to their army as passwords and had proclaimed to the counterrevolutionary crusaders: “In this sign thou shalt conquer!” From that moment, as soon as one of the numerous parties which gathered under this sign against the June insurgents seeks to hold the revolutionary battlefield in its own class interest, it goes down before the cry: “property, family, religion, order.” Society is saved just as often as the circle of its rulers contracts, as a more exclusive interest is maintained against a wider one. Every demand of the simplest bourgeois financial reform, of the most ordinary liberalism, of the most formal republicanism, of the most shallow democracy, is simultaneously castigated as an “attempt on society” and stigmatized as “socialism.” And finally the high priests of “religion and order” themselves are driven with kicks from their Pythian tripods, hauled out of their beds in the darkness of night, put in prison vans, thrown into dungeons or sent into exile; their temple is razed to the ground, their mouths are sealed, their pens broken, their law torn to pieces in the name of religion, of property, of the family, of order. Bourgeois fanatics for order are shot down on their balconies by mobs of drunken soldiers, their domestic sanctuaries profaned, their houses bombarded for amusement – in the name of property, of the family, of religion, and of order. Finally, the scum of bourgeois society forms the holy phalanx of order and the hero Crapulinski [a character from Heine’s poem “The Two Knights,” a dissolute aristocrat.] installs himself in the Tuileries as the “savior of society.”

WASHINGTON (AP) — The State Department said Thursday that it’s reviewing the records of more than 55 million foreigners who hold valid U.S. visas for potential revocation or deportable violations of immigration rules.
In a written answer to a question posed by The Associated Press, the department said that all U.S. visa holders are subject to “continuous vetting” with an eye toward any indication that they could be ineligible for the document.
Should such information be found, the visa will be revoked and, if the visa holder is in the United States, he or she would be subject to deportation.
The department said it was looking for indicators of ineligibility, including visa overstays, criminal activity, threats to public safety, engaging in any form of terrorist activity, or providing support to a terrorist organization.
https://apnews.com/article/trump-visas-deportations-068ad6cd5724e7248577f17592327ca4The Trump administration is preparing to lower the recruitment standards for F.B.I. agents, eliciting alarm from many agents who worry that the move will undermine the agency’s primary mission of conducting complex investigations and tracking threats to national security.
Under a plan pushed by the director, Kash Patel, and his deputy, Dan Bongino, the F.B.I. will start welcoming new classes of recruits who will receive less training and no longer be required to have a college degree, according to people familiar with the plan who spoke on the condition of anonymity to describe it.
The shift comes as the agency anticipates losing more than 5,000 employees by September, largely as a result of agents, analysts and others taking severance or early retirement packages offered by the Trump administration to try to reduce the budget.
Instead of spending about 18 weeks training at the academy in Quantico, Va., the group of agents, tentatively scheduled to start in October, will receive eight weeks, according to the people. And the agents will no longer need to fulfill a longstanding requisite for joining the bureau: a bachelor’s degree.
https://www.nytimes.com/2025/08/21/us/politics/fbi-agent-recruitment-requirements-trump.htmlPresident Donald Trump said in an interview that he intends to join law enforcement on the streets of Washington, DC Thursday evening — a move that seemed designed to draw more attention to his broad federal crackdown.
“I’m going to be going out tonight, I think, with the police, and with the military, of course,” the president told radio host Todd Starnes Thursday.
A senior White House official said that the details of the evening were still being worked out. A source familiar with the matter told CNN that some members of the Secret Service’s Washington Field Office, who would handle a presidential movement like this one, were caught off guard by the president’s announcement.

Boeing, which is in the midst of a turnaround led by CEO Kelly Ortberg, is still working out the details of the sale, such as what types and volume of jet models will be sold as well as the delivery timetables, the people said. However, the deal is still dependent on the two nations easing trade tensions that date back to Trump’s first term in office.

Chinese refineries have placed new orders for Russian crude that will be shipped from ports that typically supply India, as demand from the South Asian country for Moscow’s crude slips following US President Trump’s tariffs.
At least 15 cargoes of Russian oil have been secured by Chinese refineries for October and November delivery, analysts said.
