How many protests with millions of people does it take for liberals to realize that protesting accomplishes practically nothing? It is legitimately baffling to me that they seemingly never realize that.

Any protest which has a start time and end time isn’t a protest but a parade.

Notice how the Palestine protests from the past two years did diddly-squat to stop an actual genocide.

The no kings thing is by liberals, for liberals. It's just a pep rally to try and generate hype for the midterms. Progressives think that it'll be their big chance to take back control of the dnc and legislature.

Okay tell that to 99.9% of Marxists today as well then.
Attending protests constitute the majority of the activity of Xi-simps, MLs and Trots alike.
The only groups that tend to also do other stuff a lot of the time are ancoms, Maoists and ultras.

OP topic is broader than No Kings

What can you do? There's not one serious communist organization with cadres on the ground that can actually contribute to what needs to be done (I am not spelling this out, read the books). Every to-be party organizations understands that it doesn't matter if you go against or with the flow, the unconsciouss political masses will still go out to demonstrate for dumb reasons. I don't care. Let them walk. It frustrates the rulling classes (maybe) and doesn't disturb me in any way. There's something to be said about Bordiga-like organic theories here in this particular instance and against entryism in general.

It's mostly a relief mechanism, people feel relieved by the shared expression of their dissatisfaction, the sense of comradery, shared purpose and moral unity. It can be quite useful for organizing and people will do it anyway so you might as well get in on it and show your face, partake in the comradery. But they shouldn't be seen as goals in and of themselves. Currently they're effectively underutilized as only a mechanism for psychological relief. Though im sure people are trying to use them to organize it's not easy

It never works out because that people that go to protests are not those interested in long term organization. You said so yourself, it's a psychological relief not as a first method of struggle (if you can call protests/demonstrations that are just walks with little to no political substancr).

Who actually went to those protests breh

Idk things have happened as a result of protests/marches in the past, but they do seem pretty much dead in the water in the current day it's true

You are assuming that liberals want to change something
They just want to brunch
