Behold, the most useless communist party. What do these guys even do?
What the hell is going on over there in Nepal? This can extend to Sri Lanka also.

The most useless and embarrassing communist party is the Communist Party of Britain. The Labour party for bigots afraid of ever actually being adjacent to power.

>>2587046
which one?

Was this the one that China backed a monarchy against?

>>2587065
No, this is the Communist Party of Nepal (Unified Marxist-Leninist) which opposed the People's War. Their chairman (KP Sharma Oli) was the guy who just got kicked out of the Prime Minister position by the recent protests in Nepal.

>What the hell is going on over there in Nepal?
The collapse of the historic compromise between revisionist "communism" and liberalism. This isn't just limited to Nepal either. We can also see this in the collapse of "Eurocommunist" politics across Europe as revisionist Communist Parties are being banned right left and center. Their usefulness to liberalism and bourgeois "multi-party democracy" is used up, they played their role in wrecking revolutionary politics to perfection, and as capitalism heads to another general crisis liberalism is uninterested in communist politics even having a nominal presence in public life.

>>2586985
What did any of the 500 communist parties of nepal actually do?

>>2587046
No, it's CPUSA. Angloids are the worst at communism.

>>2613912
Eternal NEP

>>2587246
What the fuck sort of infighting is happening there?

>>2586985
I would argue the Russian Communist Party is the most useless one, being a puppet to show a false sense of "democracy". Nepal are just basic socdems.

>>2613937
Russia has more than one too

>>2613930
The "infighting" is a lot simpler than people who are just looking to crack a joke (like OP) might lead you to believe. There are broadly two communist blocs in mainstream Nepali politics: the social democratic "Marxist-Leninists" led by the now-deposed Prime Minister K. P. Sharma Oli, and the Prachandists (former Maoists) led by Pushpa Kamal Dahal or "Prachanda". Far from infighting, these two wings are also fairly conciliatory with one-another, and basically trade places for power in Nepal's government every few years. Though they act as rival blocs, they have attempted to merge a few times, most recently from 2018-2021, with this attempt only being blocked by a legal technicality. The merged party called itself the "Nepal Communist Party", and they were forced to split by judicial decree as another party had claimed that name. Outside of these two groups you have Maoists who are in a process of reorientation after Prachanda's betrayal and seek to overthrow the present government and establish a socialist state.

The worst Communists are probably jcp or kprf. Maybe also cpi (m).

>>2614542
Do you mean CPI marxist or CPI maoist? This is important

>>2614542
Say what you will of JCP, they completely outlasted all the other eurocommunist parties

>>2614596
Simply existing as a dead end isn't an achievement.

>>2614603
As if the NPA or Naxalites are any less of a dead end

>>2614605
Looks like I struck a nerve lmao

>>2614498
Why do they even hate each other? Why has the right not captured any gains?

>>2614709
>Why do they even hate each other?
They don't. Like I said they tried to merge. Any present conflict is more-or-less posturing by the Prachandists to maintain what little pull with the masses they have left from the People's War.
>Why has the right not captured any gains?
Who exactly is the right? You have the liberals, the monarchists, etc. They're arguably far more fragmented in aims than the liberal-left and revolutionary left are. The liberals and lib-left (both blocs of electoral "communists") are unified in wanting to maintain bourgeois democracy and avoid a re-ignition of the People's War. The monarchists want an outright end to bourgeois democracy and reinstatement of the old feudal system. The shift we're seeing now is the liberals shedding the lib-left now that it's outlived its usefulness. They are now more than capable, alongside the Indian bourgeoisie, of suppressing the revolutionary left and People's War on their own.
