Greetings comrades, I made this thread to learn more about the communist parties of Israel and Palestine. We all know the Ziorats of LIkkud and the various anti-zio main players (Hezbollah, Hamas, Jenin etc), but I want to focus this thread on the explicitly communist ones. I am aware that many of you will find an 'Israeli communist' party an oxymoron in itself, but I am not asking about whether you support or like them. Just a straightforward exposé.
We of course have heard of the PFLP bangers, but what are their strength nowadays? Are they on the rise among the Palestinian populace or on the decline?
I recently heard of DFLP. What about them?
What about Maki? Are they relevant? What are their positions?
And any others which are less known? What about anarchists?
>We of course have heard of the PFLP bangers, but what are their strength nowadays?
Pretty much irrelevant. West Bank has a whole has been plagued by nihilism ever since the PLO backstabbed decades of mass movement.
>What about Maki? Are they relevant?
They have support only from Palestinian citizens of Israel.
>>2607473since about 20% of Israeli citizens are Arabs, and Maki succeeds to win over even 10% of them, that's pretty good for a communist party tbh. Considering how irrelevant CPs are in most of the world.
>less knownThere is a festival in a WB Agricultural village called Farkha;
https://www.revistalegerin.com/en/post/winningagainstthefear. Is DFLP linked I believe but draws internationalists from across the MENA; especially kurdish comrades. They are also doing shit like setting up Palestinian agricultural cooperatives and shit, more info here;
