Probably the most important and radical contemporaneous Marxist

>Openly criticizes culture war

>Brings back class theory
>"The mistake past Marxists made is to believe that resistance against capitalism would as a group. In reality, people resist individually. Group resistance only happens through particular organization and circumstances"

The only modern Marxist worth listening to

>dude I never heard about brought me back something I never lost
Did he come through the chimney while I was asleep? Should I leave him cookies and milk too next time?

I cant tell the difference between him and the other Indian marxist guy

He doesn't seem to be a multipolaroid nationalist. So he's good.

Vijay Ramaswamy?

Vivek rules and he breathes new life into the western left. He's even inspired me to go to school for sociology.
His best quote is "we're all social democrats in the short term" as well as "there have never been any successful revolutions in already established bourgeois democratic states"

He keeps it real. His interview on doomscroll is really really good.

His "debate: with Zizek is also good. Especially the first 15 minutes

Apu Nahasapeemapetilon?

How is he a Marxist when he rejects dialectics which is fundamental to dialectical materialism? He even lends to ridiculous idealizations of bourgeois economics such as the axiom of assuming people are rational actors when people are often irrational and desires and therefore decision making even with perfect rationality differ. His entire anti-woke schtick is really just him being a stereotypical smelly Indian who is trying to find acceptance from white people (more specifically white men) by trash talking progressivism.

Yeah people love to talk about the right way to do shit but we still haven't found it yet. All the successful revolutions have been either in the periphery or in outright undeveloped places (USSR). The situation is different and will necessarily call for different methods. If the standard ML programme was applicable to the "imperial core" and highly developed capitalism, it's had plenty of time to prove it.
