>>2626578Such is the westoid mod's narcissism.
Soldiers under capitalism are workers hired by capitalists to murder their fellow workers for a pittance that would put a scab to shame. And this the capitalists, for very good reasons to themselves, pronounce “patriotism” and hail as military glory; and the gruesome game has worked like a charm these many years.
But at last these hireling soldiers are catching on. And no wonder. At army posts and in camps the officers are strutting tsars and the common soldiers cur dogs. The brutal treatment they are subjected to by the snobs and upstarts who lord it over them as their “superiors” I have heard from their own lips and it is revolting to the last degree.
Only a fool, a stupid, besotted fool, would submit to such brutality for such a pittance unless indeed he were a pervert and halfwit and gloried in his own degeneracy.
“Military glory” under capitalism has had its day. Its sun is setting. The suckers have about quit biting.
Special orders have just been issued by the war department at Washington to all the recruiting stations to increase the pressure and offer all possible inducements to secure recruits. The most glittering and highly colored pictures, displaying the dazzling and attractive beauties of camp life, cover the billboards wherever a recruiting station is located. On these pictures soldiers are in clover as deep as they are in hell in the real thing.
Lolling back in easy chairs, smoking fragrant cigars, and surveying with field-glasses the surrounding landscape of ravishing beauty, a soldier’s life at $13 a month is made to appear a symphony of rapture that would excite the envy of the gods, but when he has enlisted and is securely harpooned the illusion vanishes. He sups on embalmed jackass and moldy beans, and a two-by-four “superior” spits on him for dessert. And to desert this dessert is a crime punishable by imprisonment.
Last year, according to the official report of the adjutant general, there were over 4,000 desertions from the army of the United States. The total number of desertions for the ten years ending with the report just issued is not quite 50,000, an average of a trifle less than 5,000 a year.
Think of the supreme significance of 5,000 desertions from the United States army every year! Over 400 a month or about 15 a day for every day of the week.
How is this for an exhibition of patriotism and military glory by the soldiers of the United States army?
A soldier has just told me that these unparalleled desertions are super-induced mainly by the teachings of socialism and the influence of the socialist movement. Thousands of soldiers have studied and understand more or less clearly the economics of militarism and they appreciate keenly the position they occupy and the moral degradation it entails, as well as the sickening service they are required to render as their “patriotic duty,” and there will be no unnecessary delay on their part in transferring their allegiance from murderous militarism to revolutionary socialism.

Individual problems get ironed out by a mean of a large group. Also, pedophile president by the way.
It's absurdly demoralizing being Brazilian and seeing that there are people who are such sell out dogs that they want a direct military administration over here. Like, they don't even want a puppet that speaks out language and was born here to work on behalf of America. No, they want a full blown military occupation here. I don't even know what to say at this point.
I'm afraid because I feel that the Americans will attempt to turn this part of the continent into the "new middle east."

Any venezuela news?
https://seekingalpha.com/news/4536488-trump-sees-oil-bonanza-in-venezuela-yet-hurdles-remainSo aparantly the oil companies arent super excited for venezuelan pil it would be a massive investment, this suggests that either the geopolitical angle is more important (or the domestic poltical angle)
Or trump thought stealing the oil soundes nice in his head and it doesnt even make buisness sense?
Will this lead to evential abandonment or will they double down and find something worth looting?

The survey of 1,287 Republicans found that a majority of Republican voters under age 45 say they would prefer to support a candidate who supports reducing taxpayer-funded weapons to Israel in the 2028 Republican presidential primary (51%), while just 27% prefer a candidate who would increase or maintain weapons to Israel.

<The Yankee president, the imperialist Donald Trump, stated in his press conference on January 3rd that the operation in Venezuela is indeed a threat to Cuba. "Cuba is an interesting case, it's not doing very well right now. This system hasn't been very good for Cuba," Trump told reporters.
<Regarding the operation in Venezuela sending a direct message to Cuba, the arch-reactionary stated: "It's very similar in the sense that we want to help the people in Cuba," Trump said about the "help" provided by the economic blockades, coup attempts, bombings, and kidnappings carried out against the Venezuelan nation.
<Alongside Trump, US Secretary of State Marco Rubio said that Trump's threat to Cuba should be taken seriously, and also accused Cuba of helping to protect Venezuela's legitimate president, Nicolás Maduro. While they are trying to impose a puppet regime in Venezuela, he stated the absurdity that one of the "greatest challenges Venezuelans face is declaring independence from Cuba."
<Threatening the peoples and nations of the world, he concluded: “Don’t mess with this president in office, because it won’t end well. That lesson was learned last night, and we hope it will be instructive going forward.”https://anovademocracia.com.br/apos-ataque-a-venezuela-trump-e-marco-rubio-lancam-ameacas-contra-a-nacao-cubana/ honkoid status?

When you find out someone who's both a close friend and someone within a position of power within a venue/cafe you've been working with for 6 months is a nazi so instead of talking to the guy, or doing anything to resolve the problem, they ban you instead out of fear you'll hurt business. Oh and apparently, me and a couple of other people raising hell about how one small business owner was letting a single mom with 2 kids live in a moldy house for a year and some change, that got a few big spenders to stop coming around. Standing for something hurts business.
I have spent the last 6 months immersed in some of the realest, ground level realpolitik and I have very little to show for it now that I'm excommunicado. I literally moved here to that kind of work, and I'm seeing how absolutely insane I sound to people now. Fucked up thing? I just passed on a room in Seattle so that a transwoman can get the fuck out of Kentucky.
RIP the HOUDINI Community Pantry 2025-2025. RIP to the potential free breakfast program, even if I was still able to feed a handful of people everyday who hadn't the funds to pay. It was all going to grow in the pantry growing into a distro point for the various other mutual aid organizations, but I could tell this was never going to happen due to the inherent contradictions with working with a small business.
All I know, is that I have consistently put my life, my will, my labor and my time into doing what is right. That I will never regret. Even in the anarchist-adjacent, punk-friendly, "safe space" cafe, the logic of capital and social comfort will sacrifice the principled person before it will sacrifice the Nazi, because the principled person causes friction, and friction is bad for business.
>>2628152A close friend with the owners*
>>2627477I know this is a small historical footnote now, but in hindsight the whole "Gulf of America" thing was a signpost of everything that's happening currently. This refocus on the Americas was in the cards for a while.
A lot of people are theorizing that Trump made an agreement where he gets the Americas, Putin gets Europe, and Xi gets Asia. I don't think it will work out that neatly, but I believe that is Trump's mindset. To him the USA is entitled to the Americas, and if in the chaos Putin and Xi secure their own claims then so be it.
So yes I do think Trump is serious about Greenland. Considering how much fuckery he's already managed in one year and he has three to go, there's definitely room for Greenland. And Cuba, and Mexico, and Colombia, and maybe even Canada. Why not? He's faced zero resistance. If he can kidnap a sitting head of state with no consequences whatsoever, what's to stop him?

Why would trump stop? He fucking won. The world is his oyster. Every territory he takes is an immense gain for the american people as the climate continues to destabilize and become inhospitable, as the world becomes hostile and paranoid. These are raw resources he's securing.
He's going to take greneland. He's going to take canada. He's going to take Cuba. He's going to take Mexico. He's going to take Greenland. Unification with western characteristics.
>>2628169he'll annex canada and greenland because they are percieved as white countries. he will puppet mexico, cuba, and venezuela because they are brown countries
>>2628172He'll take over mexico and cuba. He wants his names in the history books, and owning the land itself is useful to american interests. They want direct control over the panama canal and thus a lot of global trade.
Trump is serious about Canada but I wonder if Americans would just let him do it? I think attacking a white English-speaking country would hit differently, especially a neighbor we share a huge border with and has a stereotype of being polite and peaceful. Would it finally be enough for a lot of people to be like "alright, enough is enough, he has to go" or would we just keep the same lethargy and be like "oh, I guess Canada is part of the US now! back to Netflix"?
MAYBE after a couple years of manufacturing consent and relentless propaganda. Watch for the signs.
>>2628185canada will be taken peacefully
>>2628152To what extent was there a community or group independent of that small business that could positively throw its weight around?
I think that's the crux of dealing with any small business in a movement context but I can't help but wonder if this is also an issue of location ie suburban florida where people might be more inclined to just let the pb slide to maintain a "unity" in the suburban wilderness.
>>2628193So what they'll do a bloodless coup and then the new government will just willfully surrender to the US? I think most people would see through that.

US President Donald Trump’s brushing aside of opposition leader Maria Corina Machado as a potential interim leader of Venezuela, stems from her decision to accept the Nobel Peace Prize last year, the Washington Post reports.
Citing two sources close to the White House, the report says that Machado’s efforts to praise Trump after she won the award were not enough to placate the US president, who openly covets the award and feels he deserved to receive it.
“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one of the sources says.
Machado’s acceptance of the prize was an “ultimate sin,” the person says.

>>2628197I think Americans by and large are obsessed with the small business owner class and wanting to be a part of it. As for community that existed outside of that location? I attempted to build that, and I have several remaining connections regardless of the location, but the location was very important due to hosting a monthly hardcore punk show, giving us space for the pantry, giving us space for the outdoor kitchen. I've had kickbacks (small house parties) where most of the regulars at this cafe have attended. I don't know how strongly people will rally against me.
The locational access to the venue and the capacity to host events (literally bringing the working class to you) was the key here. I cannot run a pantry or distribution site, or kitchen without locational access. This facilitated working with a small business whom seemed aligned ideologically with my goals, located in a poor black neighborhood, half-owned by a black owner (whom has strong ideologically aligned beliefs).
This locational access is the root of why you have to engage with the small business contradictions. I cannot help but feel that my inability to work within these contradictions, or more over my desire to consistently stand for my principles, has hurt the capacity for praxis within central florida in the long term.
yes I'm upset about losing friends and connections and what has been a second home to me, but none of that matters because my life has been given to the revolutionary cause and that is my primary goal.

The location had very little to do with me creating the pantry, it was simply the space that made it available. So we'll start another one. We'll find more space. It's that simple. I plan on doing the same thing that I've been doing. The work. Link with the solid connections I have. Realpolitik it out in order to hold power where I can. Learn from the lessons I've been given. I think there's something deep within me that is almost more motivated by this than I am defeated by it. Like there's absolutely part of me that wants to crash out, that wants to make it some drama, maybe cry about it. but perhaps this is a wake up call to me that the things that really matter require sacrifice far and beyond anything I've had to lose yet. maybe all those times reading Nechayev is ringing in my head. maybe I got comfortable, didn't move with the haste that was needed, could have done more but the illusion of community, or maybe even the illusion of being part of that small business class, or even the illusion of "mentorship" clouded my vision. it is my own fault for getting attached. it is my own fault for allowing a single space, a business, a small business owner and the logic that comes with it predicate so much of my 5 year plan. if revolution is to be made in florida, it will not be made here because they have excommunicado someone who has, beyond a doubt, show themselves to be one of the key revolutionaries of this decade, of this moment, and with that I do not care if they welcome me back, though I would take it due to it's power as a node towards revolution, I do not care about the personal stakes, and if I do, even if it is deep down, even if it pains my soul to know that a lot of what I had grown attached to has been ripped from me, I must remember that those things are not what guides me, not what has given me purpose.
For him, there exists only one pleasure, one consolation, one reward, one satisfaction – the success of the revolution. -Nechayev

Since USApol is deader than a dodo, I must remind my respected comrades here that:
(i) An American communist who does not place the immediate and complete dismantlement of NATO as his top priority is no communist at all.
(ii) Only American imperialism currently exists. European states are vassals of America and thus any European imperialism is an auxiliary of American imperialism.
(iii) The EU is not a pole distinct from the USA. The EU gives an air of European sovereignty to not offend the extremely conceited Europeans, but the EU will never oppose the USA when it really, materially matters. The EU is not a union of Europeans, but merely the formal union of the European bourgeoisies who were already informally united under the Spectre of American Imperialism.
(iv) one cannot forever raise awareness, organise, and roleplay in book clubs. At some point, one must act. When that time comes, conveniently all kinds of supposedly 'leftist' demands/obstacles of feminism, genderism, ableism will arise in a way which precisely slows down or kills the act. A communist must not be scared to detect the wreckers and excommunicate them, without any fear of being labelled a bigot.
(v) A communist cannot bend for religion. It is one thing to not enforce a vitriolic militant atheism and tone down one's insults towards religious backwardness in order to maintain a United Front. That is correct. But it is another thing to make mental gymnastics excusing and encouraging religious backwardness just because the guilty is brown and has been declared sinless by the IDpol-Left. Whenever one pactises with religious morons, one must always have in mind 'am I using them or are they using me?'. Make sure to not let religious reactionnaries succeed in their entryism and hijack your base.
(vi) less attention to the poet, to the artist, to the maverick. More attention to the WORKER. One cannot talk of PROLES all day and night and be allergic to actual proles in real life.
>only american imperialism exists
the Francophile speaks!

Ditko tried making "The Question" his go-to objectivist superhero but got pissy when Charleston comics told him he can't have his character just cold-bloodedly execute criminals (and responded by having "The Question" angrily report criminals to the police when he could just kill them) and later went on to make Mister A his "ideal" superhero. Rorschach "works" because he's Ditko's "Question" observed by a normal person: an insane right wing fanatic obsessed with conspiracies and with an obvious violent temper.
Funny enough Dennis O'Neil was later given the reigns of "The Question" around the same time as Alan Moore was writing "Watchmen" and so he was both deconstructing and reconstructing the character in his own way by
literally having the Objectivism beaten out of him and getting into Eastern philosophy. Even going kind of meta by having him read "Watchmen", try to LARP as Rorschach, then decide that "Rorschach sucks" and come to the conclusion that black and white morality really ain't justifiable.
Point being "Rorschach" really ain't admirable or a hero in any particular way and even the source character has abandoned those traits.
Oh, also he's teaming up with an Engels-Pilled Green Arrow to fight Batman and a bunch of rich human traffickers in the latest DC black label run. Fun!

>>2628976Can I really ever go back to not being 'Erik Houdini'? Can I really ever return to a time where the concept of "Erik Houdini" was so interally buried that I could work two corporate jobs? Is that not a reactionary thought? To return to some glorious past? The past was an illusion. Crowded house parties and working two jobs. Sports cars bought with drug money. Fast dates and a willingness to risk it all for money. Illusory past. Slave mentality. You can't unknow things. Working two jobs, 80-90 hours a week? That was "maximizing my productivity" or "grinding like a man should," but really? Wage slave. Who can pick the most cotton today? Massa would be proud. Long drives, nickels and dimes, zips and more. For what? To pay rent? Didn't know the room I was renting, didn't own the car, didn't own shit. Access economy, trade your life for access, not ownership, sorry. You rolled a bad starting stat spread, too poor for ownership. Slave away for the chance. Do it. Sell some bud, it's easy money.
Dropshipping? That's easy money. Come on bro, look at all these influencers, all these hustle-bros, all these real grinders. Don't you want to get to the money? Escape the cycle of poverty? How can you hate capitalism when there's all this money to be made off racist AI videos? Just use the algorithm. Just grind. Just lock in. Just do it.
Pathetic.
I've seen every angle they can serve to me. It's all worthless. Read *Rich Dad Poor Dad*. Read 48 Laws of Power. Read The 4-Hour Work Week. Make your money work for you! Pathetic. It's all worthless. All illusion. 401K. The promise of "ownership." Illusory. You cannot untake the red pill; Morpheus said it best. There is no going back.
Yet.
"The real me" has been lying at rest for so long, because the real me, the activist, the artist, the person who seeks principles, has always had to mask as the person who wants the money, the good job, the paying for the fancy dates. The gender essentialism. The "masculinity". The materialist game we're told to play. A year ago I lost my job in tech. Never liked working in tech. Never liked the people who work in tech. Never liked the Funko Pop collections residing like dusty nostalgia totems over people who are tasked with operating computers that contribute to global genocidal imperialism. "We're just contractors" might as well sound like a Nazi telling me "we're just following orders" at this stage in the game. I don't want to follow orders. I do not want comfort if it means complicity; I do not care how strongly my emotion screams otherwise.
I shall not waste my days trying to prolong them.
I shall use my time.
—Jack London
Then let me do the same. Let me use this literally infinitesimally small life, this one pebble in the river, to try and turn the current. Let me live with the fullness that allows, even if the struggle against the current is never-ending. Even if there is no going back. One pebble dreams of being the star piece in a sandcastle, destined to be washed away even if chosen; the other pebble attempts to reroute the river, even if it takes decades, even if it takes one thousand other pebbles, stones, and rocks to make the current change. How can I wear the mask again if I'm already in the current, if I'm already in the river? The dream of a sandcastle is dead, and that is a fact.
The dream of a sandcastle was an illusion, and I simply refuse to sublimate my one spark of life towards something so fugazi. To be the one who, in feeding one person, in speaking one truth, in holding one line of principle, alters the flow around you just enough that another pebble can find its footing—that is a person worth being.
In the loss of everything, I've gained everything. Principles, honor, a code, a reason to struggle—these are worth infinitely more than the chase of evergreen riches in a hollow society. How can I speak of struggle when there are thousands who have given everything in attempts at mere Pyrrhic victory? When there are men and women who have given their lives for something so hokey as a "40-hour work week," I am expected to beg for the chance to work a 70-hour week. How can I not speak about the inherent contradiction between the worker and the small business owner that pays her wage? Are we all meant to dream of one day being the exploiter?
It isn't supposed to be easy. It isn't supposed to win you the biggest popularity contest. It isn't supposed to make you the hero of your story. To be a revolutionary is to be a doomed man; it is to suffer, to struggle, to see alliances as tools and the burning of bridges as class warfare. It is to struggle. It is to be Sisyphus. It is to know there are Nazis in your midst and knowing that you've got no choice but to realpolitik it out, because people are getting fed and taking that from them isn't worth the stand. Or maybe it is. How can you break bread with people who are your enemy both ideologically and in terms of class? Do the ends justify the means? How much of this mutual aid, this anti-fascism, this anti-racism, is window dressing put up to sell product?
Am I a product? Is the end goal of this project simply to just sell T-shirts and Patreon subs so I can avoid the misery of wage slavery? Doesn't that make me another kind of traitor? The influencers tell me that communism isn't a cult of poverty, but Lenin never had brand deals.
Am I this generation's Lenin? Delusions of grandeur. Insanity. Simple. But someone sending you $500 on PayPal and saying "you're our Lenin, never give up!" gives that sort of rhetoric an energy I simply cannot live up to. A two-shelf community pantry in a small business that actively bans the homeless people who use it is not revolution. Working with the venue's sound guy who's been liking and engaging with pro-deportation, pro-ICE, literal neo-Nazi accounts, because "he does good work," is not praxis. It is not acceptable. It is not the way. It is not the task I've been given.
Six months into Florida, engaging in some of the most intense struggles of my life, both as an individual in poverty and as a revolutionary, and I have very little to show for it. Perhaps that's the issue. What would I have to show? Metrics. An obsession with numbers, graphs, viewer counts, engagement. I know for a fact that multiple people have been able to provide for both themselves and their children via the community pantry that I spearheaded. I know that damn near every day I worked this taco stand, someone who could not pay got fed. I know that consistently I have been loud for those who cannot be, and I have fallen on my sword out of principle.
What are a few stab wounds to a soldier? What are a few cuts to a samurai? So you fell on your sword. So you took the L out of principle. No one said it would be easy. No one said it would be fun, or comfortable, or even doable. No one asked you to move to Florida, to attempt real praxis, to attempt the counter-hegemony that people so often LARP about on imageboards. No one asked you to build up this image, and no one asked you to play the role of Erik Houdini. Yet I still do it. Why? That I might never know. I must build things that can survive my exhaustion, my absence, my mistakes, my misplaced judgments, my failures. That is leadership.
Cpusa should have broken maduro out today during transport, but they did nothing even though cusa HQ is in nyc

https://archive.is/XJhdUTrump says election should be canceled and warns there will be 'constitutional movement'<Trump made the remark during a speech to House Republicans attending a private retreat at the Trump-Kennedy Center Tuesday
>U.S. President Donald Trump made a concerning remark suggesting the upcoming election should be canceled on Tuesday.
>The comment was made during a speech to House Republicans attending a private retreat at the Trump-Kennedy Center, where the Republican president boasted about his first year back in office and claimed his party would have massive success during the upcoming 2026 midterms, despite political analysts and polling suggesting otherwise. It comes off the heels of the massive 2025 electoral blue wave, which analysts also point to as evidence of GOP trouble ahead.
>During the speech, which coincides with the fifth anniversary of the Jan. 6, 2021, insurrection at the U.S. Capitol, Trump said the Democrats do not deserve to even compete in an election. He also dropped a bombshell confession about his health and even slammed his own team during a bizarre rant.
<"They had the worst president, did the worst job. They have the worst policy," Trump said, referring to the Democratic Party. "We have to even run against these people."
>He continued by suggesting that the election could be canceled to stop the Democrats from running. In a sarcastic tone, Trump said the only reason he won't directly call for the election to be canceled is that the "fake news" will call him a "dictator" if he doesn't allow democracy to run as the Constitution and laws of the land dictate.
<"I won't say cancel the election; they should cancel the election," he said. Explaining his reasoning for the mocking tone, he added, "Because the fake news will say, 'He wants the elections canceled. He's a dictator.'"
>He also implied that he would be successful if he were allowed to run for a third term, but acknowledged that the Constitution would have to change before he could run again, adding: "There's gonna be a constitutional movement."
<"They always call me a dictator. Nobody is worse than Obama and the people around Biden," he added. "I don't think it was Biden. I don't think he even knew what was going on, ok?".
>Continuing to promote his 2020 election denial, which he lost to former President Joe Biden, Trump said, "The election was rigged.
<"[Biden] had no idea what happened," Trump said, seemingly making a dig at Biden's age-related cognitive decline that ultimately led him to drop out of the 2024 presidential election. "He still doesn't."
>Trump went on to make even more concerning remarks regarding fair and free elections as dictated by the U.S. Constitution, suggesting that he will find a way to run for a third time, which is a blatantly illegal act.
<"I could have the most unbelievable four years—and I guess I'm not allowed to run. I'm not sure," Trump said.
<"Is there a little something out there that I'm not allowed to run?," he bizarrely asked House Republicans in the crowd. "But let's assume I was allowed to run. There's gonna be a constitutional movement."
>Trump previously made similar remarks about running again, but backtracked after fierce backlash to his disregard for the law.
>Earlier in the day, Trump's former Vice President Mike Pence made a subtle dig at Trump, accusing him of failing to carry out the peaceful transfer of power after their term finished and he lost the 2020 election, which he denies to this day.
>Pence narrowly avoided assassination on that fateful day in which one was killed. Five later died, some by suicide, who attended the violent riot.
>Trump pardoned all but 14 of the more than 1,200 convicted rioters. He filed numerous lawsuits, nearly all of which have been dismissed or tossed due to a lack of evidence or standing to overturn the 2020 election results, and was also sued for his ongoing election denial. Those cases have also been dismissed as of November 2025, The Associated Press reports.
>In the speech, Trump also made a confused confession - admitting, 'what the hell is going on'. >>2631056I think what separates Trump from the neocons is his absolute disdain for soft power, because he's a moronic thug. So he's constantly taking unnecessary Ls because people hate him so much. I guarantee he could have bargained with Denmark to gain every possible strategic advantage out of Greenland, everything south of formally owning the country, but he wants to outright own it so he makes dumb threats.
He could have everything he and his cronies ever wanted if only he was 10% less openly mean, but that's just not his personality.

>“Wherever morality is based on theology, wherever the right is made dependent on divine authority, the most immoral, unjust, infamous things can be justified and established. I can found morality on theology only when I myself have already defined the Divine Being by means of morality. In the contrary case, I have no criterion of the moral and immoral, but merely an unmoral, arbitrary basis, from which I may deduce anything I please. Thus, if I would found morality on God, I must first of all place it in God: for Morality, Right, in short, all substantial relations, have their only basis in themselves, can only have a real foundation—such as truth demands—when they are thus based.

CIA Double Agent Aldrich Ames passes away at 84
>Aldrich Ames, the most murderous turncoat in the history of the Central Intelligence Agency, whose betrayal in working for the Soviet Union went undetected for almost a decade, died on Monday. He was 84 and had been a federal prisoner, serving life without parole, since 1994.
>…Mr. Ames put together hundreds of secret documents in a six-pound stack — a who’s who of Soviets working for the C.I.A. and an encyclopedia of American intelligence operations behind the Iron Curtain. He stuffed them in his briefcase, walked out of headquarters and delivered them to a contact at the Soviet Embassy.
>… The K.G.B. took care of him — he was paid at least $2,705,000 — and it took care of its own turncoats. As many as 10 Soviet and Soviet-bloc spies were arrested, interrogated and executed for treason. One was imprisoned. At least two escaped, one step ahead of their pursuers. The network that had provided the United States with political, military, diplomatic and intelligence insights on Moscow was destroyed.

I think this should be the authoritative website:
https://www.eia.gov/dnav/pet/hist/leafhandler.ashx?n=pet&s=mcrfpus2&f=min november the regime put out propaganda announcing the imminent announcement of radical advances in shale oil tech. there has been no announcement besides "real-time data analytics" (dashboards) and "AI" (bullshit).
https://www.bloomberg.com/opinion/articles/2025-11-20/shale-fracking-next-revolution-in-us-oil-should-worry-opecthe production data that has been published shows a rapid increase, likely driven by industrial deregulation and capital deregulation. the thing is that the growth has been in shale oil production. slower, less profitable, and wells are rapidly depleted. cutting red tape accelerates projects in development but it doesn't necessarily create new ones. they could have already burned that bump or have dire forecasts of it ending.
tl;dr: I can't find data that shows a production crisis that would motivate this unprecedented geopolitical outrage, but I also can't find data that disproves a crisis in US oil production. the us has missed every milestone for electrification, renewable energy, and infrastructure modernization so such a crisis would hit their economy and the world economy extremely hard.
I was wondering if someone had access to the figures. also, given the circumstances we should consider a thread on commodities markets.

>>2631419I keep thinking back to "soft power" 'cause I believe that's an understated factor of what killed the USSR. How would they be able to overcome it and develop their own unique form of it, etc.
I really don't know what they could've done, except maybe create a kind of "Hollywood Machine" in the USSR; like the Soviet Union gave the world some of the greatest films in existence (I remember one ages ago about the Napoleonic wars, I was really inebriated but I distinctly remember one scene about an officers' party that involved a bear and some guy drunkenly balancing off a window ledge) but I think America churned out this great mix of "lowest common denominator" propaganda. Like you've got First Blood, whose thesis is essentially that America isn't worth dying for, and then they immediately transform that into "Actually America rules". Far as I know, Rambo only attacks Americans in the first movie and everything after that involves him slaughtering the traditional enemies of America abroad. It was a propaganda coup.
Dunno if the USSR could do the same, but I think "dumb guy movies" was a big boon to American propaganda. Shit, the Pentagon fucking worked on the
G.I. Joe film if I remember right.

>>2628417>>2628451Leftypol is finally embracing the Immortal Science of Marxism-Leninism-Maoism, the Highest Stage of Marxism, rooted in the Immortal Thought of Marx, Engels, Lenin, Stalin, and Mao, and currently being practiced by the CPI (Maoist), CPP-NPA-NDF, TKP/ML, and the Shining Path, in their ongoing Maoist PPWs in India, the Philippines, Turkey, and Peru, respectively, due to the fact that Maoist PPW is the only proven Scientific method to have a successful Communist Revolution that establishes a Dictatorship of the Proletariat (One-Party Marxist-Leninist-Maoist State) in the Socialist Mode of Production (Centrally Planned Socialist Economy), with Maoist PPW currently viable in the Material Conditions of the Periphery/Semi-Periphery, as proven by the ongoing Maoist PPWs in India, the Philippines, Turkey, and Peru, while in the Imperial Core, Maoist PPW wont be viable in the Material Conditions until World War III breaks out and/or Liberal Bourgeois Democracy is permanently suspended, with these two events being related and probably happening around the same time, when the inevitable World War III between the U$ and China escalates into a Global Nuclear War that will destroy the entire Global Capitalist-Imperialist System, thus allowing for a World Maoist PPW to create a Global USSR (All of the SSRs and SFSRs of the future Global USSR are shown in the Map I posted) that will place the Workers and Oppressed Nations of the World on the Shining Path to Communism, ✊😜🇨🇳🇰🇵🇨🇺🇵🇸🏳️🌈🏳️⚧️🚀☢️!

>>2631449It's an interesting idea. They could have done what China is doing with movies like Wolf Warrior. 1980s USSR Rambo gunning down corrupt western puppets and drug dealing Mujahideen would have been kino.

he does not stay in space.
Been reading into the true nature of power in the US and the shit that’s blowing my mind is that how easy it would be to stop Trump and grind his administration into an absolute halt, not just by a filibuster but by procedural bureaucratic simple shit, actual motions that would grind the administration into several months of bureaucratic deadlock for every decision Trump makes. And the thing blowing my mind is that Democrats CAN use these motions without having a majority because in fact the minority are the ones who usually have the power. We aren’t a majoritarian democracy so it literally doesn’t matter that the Republicans have the majority. In fact American history is outright a direct proof of this, the slavery abolition question which was constantly legally halted as a movement for decades before it led to the First Republics collapse. Reading these procedural histories and what actually exists as methods Democrats can use is truly revealing to me because it even more proves that even from a bureaucratic point of view these Democrats are totally in line with the Republican Party for two reasons: those who truly are in line with Republicans, an the others who aren’t be fall in line because they know if they actually used all the current avenues of resistance, legal and procedural, bureaucratic avenues, it could and most likely would lead to a civil war scenario where government grinds to such a halt, that it’s not the citizens who would fight, its the actual officials who would lose all faith in their institutions, leading to a civil war scenario.
>>2631553The executive branch is effectively independent of any obstruction democrat politicians could possibly do. All congressional motions are worthless and can just be ignored as congress has no army to enforce it's edicts.
As for the civil war slavery was an important part of the southern economy and also key to the elite plantation owners control of the south. They had the motivation to fight to preserve their power and ability to drum up an army to fight for them. The idea random government officials with no independent power or strong economic motivation would be the driving force behind a civil war is laughable.

Brazil or Indonesia can't do the same thing without sending millions of formers under the poverty line

Destroying many islands for socialism is good.

What is backwards beyond redemption must be left behind without mercy.
From the 1500s or so, European epistemology has been supreme. Each era has a certain volk whixh surpasses the rest. For whatever climatic, geographical, lucky, trade reasons etc. It used to be the Egytians, the Persians, Greeks, Romans, Chinese etc.
We live in the era of European epistemology greatly surpassing all. Even better, with the universalism of French Revolution, we can drop the 'european' adjective. With October Revolution, the universalism was materially enforced.

>>2631292>30 to 50 million of high quality oilLet's see, since Venezuelan oil is very heavy, you'd need to refine it in the US, and the cost will fall on American companies. Then you'll have to sell all of them at once since Trump does not have the patience to wait, which means oil prices will decline heavily. This is literally buy high sell low
>>2631623And we still haven't considered how OPEC views all of this. I can't imagine the Gulf is happy with Trump is shitting the oil market. So we really should ask what, if any, long term strategy is there in this venture for America
>>2631605>reconcile communism with indigenous epistemologyWhy would we use an epistemology that got the societies that used it destroyed? It clearly fell short.

>>2631623Yeah it's a desperate strategy by an empire in retreat, not an actual good long term plan. I've learned over the last 10 years that the more brazen and reactionary the strategy, the more it actually hurts the people using it in the long term. Not to mention the bridges being burned internationally.

>>2631704>Clearly its not so unipolar if NATO is losing its proxy waryeah the age of unipolarity is dying, but russia as it currently exists is a byproduct of when that hegemony is unchallenged. You cry at the turning point. I've given you the timeline. Let me give it to you again. You ignore everything 1991 to 2022 and cry only about february 2022 onward. that is what the "zigger zigger zigger" nonsense is meant to do, flatten the real history in which the overwhelming responsibility for this conflict is NATO meddling, and blame it on russia. or, in the more clever version, call it an "inter imperialist war" between NATO and the people anti-"ziggers" were calling "a glorified gas station" just before the war.
>>2631705 why are you acting annoyed? it's a real thing. it's a common talking point. US meddles somewhere, and the mouthpieces of the billionaires say no, "the people" have rejected "the regime" and you need to respect their "agency."
